The girl rode her horse through the woods trying to get the stag. As Nero jumped over a log she smiled at her boyfriend (yes they are 28 and STILL dating).
"Nero's faster than you," she teased. As she rode through the woods, she realized Edmund stopped.
She rode back to him with Susan. "C'mon Ed!"
"Just catching my breath," he said. "What did he say Susan?" Lucy asked. "You girls go back to the castle, I'll get the stag myself," Susan mocked.
Karalyn looked around and saw a lampost, which looked familiar. "Its like from a dream," she said. "It is home," Lucy decided, and ran towards a thicket of weeds. "Not again," Susan said.
Running through the thicket of trees, she wondered. If she would get home? If she would see Marie again? If she would have to stay here in Narnia? She didn't know.
Susan, at the back of the line, grabbed her hand, pulling her deeper into the thicket. They walked through deeper and somehow, the trees felt softer, furrier.
"Get off my toe!"
"I'm not on your toe!"
"Stop shoving!" Their voices got younger. They fell on top of each other on a hard floor. Karalyn looked around. It was her home!
She looked at herself, she was younger, 15 years to be exact.
The door opened to one of Karalyn's favorite people. "Uncle Diggory, is that you?" She asked. "Karalyn?!" He said. The girl stood up to him. "You've been gone for 5 years, where've you been?" He asked.
"You wouldn't believe me," she said and he threw a ball at Peter. "Try me."

After they told him the Narnian journey, another thought popped into her head. "Marie!" She ran to her little sisters room. "Its been years. She hasn't opened her door in 4 years," Digory told her niece. She knocked on her 12 year-old sisters door. "Marie? Marie! Marie Carvalla Aslyn!" She yelled.
"Whadda want," she heard her younger sister said. "Its me, your sister," she said. "My sisters been gone for 5 years," Marie confided.
Karalyn brought her arms to her head. She had to say something only Marie would know.
"OK, OK, Marie. Remember when you were four and I was eight and when we broke a window and only told Uncle Digory and not the Macready," the girl asked.
The girl heard the locks on her sisters door open. The girl peaked through her door and immediantly saw her sister. She swung opened her door and flunged at her sister.
"I've missed you so much!" Marie cried, hugging her sister. Karalyn stepped back as her sister pushed her. "I missed you squirt," the girl said, placing her head on her head.
Marie couldn't help but looking at Lucy, who was the about same age as her, Edmund, Peter and Lucy. "Who are you?"
"This is Peter, Edmund, Susan and Lucy. Peter, Edmund, Susan and Lucy, this is my sister, Marie," Karalyn said crouching down.
After squinting her eyes at Peter, sacring him. She concluded something. "Are you dating?"
Karalyn eyes flung to her sister, sarcastic. "I don't know what do you think."
"Uh, yesssss," the girl asked. And the girl nodded. The sister flung her again.
"Okay, okay. Marie. I get it!" The girl said. "You're squeezing the life out of me," Karalyn said as she pried her sisters arms off her.
"How about the Adventure's of Narnia, huh Uncle Digory?"
PS: hey y'all. I'm having trouble remembering where I've put it so Karalyn and Marie are 4 years apart. So I'd like to keep it that way. No matter what I wrote, they are four years apart in age. Love y'all! Bye!
