As she walked through the woods, Karalyn watched every common detail. The furs in the trees, which didn't sing. As she balanced on the side of the rocks, she payed attention to every detail in them.

"I don't remember this way," Susan said. "That's the problem with girls. Can't carry a map in your heads," Peter said. "That's because we have something in them," Karalyn said, hopping down from a rock, right beside Peter.

"Dear little friend," Lucy exclaimed and Karalyn didn't hear anything else. "Oh, that's not at all patronizing, is it?" Trumpkin asked.

As Karalyn walked through a small open-like cave, Peter stood atop a big rock. "I'm not lost." He said.

"No, you're just going the wrong way," Trumpkin said. "You last saw Caspian at the shuddering woods and the quickest way there is to cross at the river rush," Peter said boldly, maybe even a little to much, bickering. Karalyn rolled her eyes at the bickering.

"Unless I'm mistaken, there is no crossing in these parts," Trumpkin said. "That explains it then, you're mistaken," Peter said.

Karalyn wanted to scold her boyfriend for sassing their guide, only cause Peter thought he was the guide, but she didn't want him to get mad at her, or the other was around.

They walked through the woods, to a cliff. Where the crossing was but no more. She looked down, down to nothing but rocks and a river at the bottom.

"See? Over time erosion the soil carbon decays-" Susan said while sassing. "Oh, shut up," Peter said.

Karalyn couldn't take it anymore. "That's it! Peter, I'm starting to think you're the one who's supposed to shut up, not Susan, not Edmund, not Trumpkin, you. You can't deal with being wrong. You made a mistake, you're getting an attitude, but let me ask you this, is it worth catching!" Karalyn scolded, with Peter confused at her tone, she hasn't even scolded anyone like that. Everyone was astonished.

"Is there a way down?" Edmund asked. "Yeah, falling," Trumpkin said. Peter finally spoke up, after his girlfriend scolded him. "Well, we weren't lost."

"There's a fort near Beruna. How do you feel about swimming?" Trumpkin asked. "Rather that than walking," Susan said.

"Aslan?" Lucy asked. "Its Aslan!" Lucy said again. "Its Aslan, over there. Don't you sees he's right-" Lucy said.

Karalyn turned around across the river, to no lion. "Do you see him now," Trumpkin asked. "I'm not crazy, he was there. He wanted us to follow him!" Lucy exclaimed. "I'm sure there is any number of lions in this wood, like the bear," Peter said, still getting over what his girlfriend yelled at him about.

"I think I know Aslan when I see him."

"Look, I'm not gonna jump off a cliff after someone who don't exist," Trumpkin concluded.

"Last time I didn't believe Lucy, I ended up looking pretty stupid," Edmund said. "Why wouldn't I've seen him?" Peter asked. "Maybe you weren't looking."

"I'm sorry Lu," Peter said and started walking. Karalyn crouched down. "I believe you," she whispered.
