Scene 7: Domino High School (Outside)

(JOUNOUCHI and HONDA are lying in pain on stage)

YUGI: (OFF STAGE) Ushio, what do you want to show me?

USHIO: (OFF STAGE) Heh heh! Just come with me. I know you'll like it.

(Enter YUGI and USHIO)

USHIO: Heh heh! Look, Yugi!

YUGI: (GASPS) Jounouchi! Honda! What in the world?!?!

USHIO: I told you, Yugi, I'm your bodyguard! I decided to teach these bullies a lesson! One they'll never forget!

YUGI: Ushio! This is too much! (RUNS TO Jounouchi and Honda) A-are you alright, Jounouchi?! Honda?!

JOUNOUCHI: (WEAKLY) Yugi, you bastard. Are you happy now?

YUGI: It's not true! You think I asked him to do this?!

USHIO: (PUSHES Yugi ASIDE) Move it, Yugi! I'm not done punishing them! (KICKS Jounouchi IN STOMACH)

YUGI: (STEPS IN FRONT OF Ushio) Stop!

USHIO: What's this? Are you protecting them, Yugi? You're a strange one. This is your chance to get back for everything. Hit them! Kick them!

YUGI: I can't do that to my friends!

JOUNOUCHI: (WEAKLY) Friends?

USHIO: Hahahaha! You're a real winner. You call them your friends? These are the guys who picked on you almost everyday! Are you serious?

YUGI: They weren't picking on me. They were teaching me to be a man.

USHIO: Well, whatever. But remember, Yugi! You still have to pay what you owe! Bodyguard charges are 200,000 yen!

YUGI: What?! 200,000 yen?!

USHIO: Heh heh. For 200,000 yen you can hit these guys all you want. You can take out your daily troubles on them, I think it's a good deal.

YUGI: (NERVOUSLY) Uhhh...

USHIO: What's this? You aren't satisfied until I hit them even more?

YUGI: (ANGRY) Don't touch these two anymore! If you're going to hurt someone, hurt me!

USHIO: You're beyond strange, you're crazy! All right then. As you wish. Normally, I hate picking on people, but this isn't "Bullying", this is "Warning"! I'll show you what'll happen if you don't pay up!

(USHIO beats up YUGI, then throws him to the ground)

USHIO: Well, I'll leave it at this.

YUGI: (COUGHS)

USHIO: Bring the money tomorrow! Got it? 200,000 yen! Break your promise and that won't be all you get. I'll teach you even more pain! With this! (GETS OUT KNIFE) Hahahaha!

(USHIO exits. YUGI sits up)

YUGI: (WEAKLY) Damn. Ushio. He's the worst of the worst! But there's nothing I can do. He's so big and powerful. I couldn't even touch him in a hundred years. Damn. Is giving him the money all I can do?
