Elena's P.O.V
I woke up to the sun shining into my room. Guess I forgot to pull up the curtains last night. I hardly remember what time i slept last night.
Its been a hectic week. Who knew becoming a doctor was so hard. I rubbed my sore eyes and went to my bathroom. Its been 5 years to that breakup with my last boyfriend . Sam.
I hadn't heard from him at all till graduation. At graduation i heard his slutty sister tell her "friends" in her usual obnoxious , rude tone that he might have to repeat the year.
It was confirmed when Drake told me later that Sam had indeed come to him looking for advice as to what he should do and gone back with a broken jaw and a black eye. Oh well.
I guess he deserved that black eye and broken jaw but I dont think he had deserved to suffer the humiliation of repeating... no one deserved that.
Five years though haven't been enough for me to get a new boyfriend. Every time Megan tried setting me up with new guys and everytime one tried to come near me , they would either repeat a line that reminded me of him or looked like him or were repelled away by me and my sarcastic comments . Cant say its my fault, I told her I'm not interested in relationships and I wasn't lying when i said i wanted Sam to come begging to me.
I guess I have had enough of heart breaking and having my trust broken and I know I'm not ready to meet just another guy Megs has been asking me to meet for 2 days now ..
