I dragged Megan into the kitchen with me not caring if the date found it rude.
" What the hell? " I said as soon as we were out of earshot.
"Yea I know he looks kind of creepy but don't go on looks .. look at the personality? " Megan smiled nervously at me .
" No way Megs. I love you but I'm not putting up with that creep." I said firmly.
"Pwease? Pretty pretty please ? " She said making her best puppy dog face at me.
" Fine . But after this you are not going to ask me to go to any more dates . Deal? " I asked
" deal"
With that we walked back to the living room to tell the guys that dinner is ready.

We sat down at the dining table which had a number of chairs since we often had get together of our friends here.
Megan and Max were sitting opposite to me and Richard.
Megan served the starters and Richard turned to me from his conversation with Max.
"So Elena, tell me more about yourself. Afterall I'm here as your blind date aren't I?" he said as he tried to make yet another conversation with me.
Max tried to gain as much of his attention as possible toward business and I tried to stay invisible to him as I enjoyed my starters , but now his attention was solely on me and he won't be distracted.
" Well I am in Meg's medical college and I'm completing my final year . I'm her best friend and Max is like a big brother to me. I love reading and music, although I doubt our tastes will match much because I like very contrasting songs." i told him with a polite smile.
Suddenly, Max's phone rang and he picked it up .
" hello...Max here... yes....WHAT!!!!...no that cant happen..no.." and with that Max got up and went into his study leaving me , Megan and Mr Creep behind.
I saw Megan fidgeting and I knew she was itching to go to Max .She was his lucky charm .
"Go and ask him what has happened Megs." I said rolling my eyes .
Without wasting time to reply, she got up and rushed towards Max into the study unfortunately leaving me alone with Mr Creep who now had hands on my thigh .
