A beast in a child's body

Her amber eyes landed on a hood that was on the ground, nasty and stinky, unusable and scrawny. She grabbed the hood from the small open alley and placed it over her head, "I need to contact HQ, they'll know how to handle this," Xiao Ai searched her body and found her pocket empty and patted every pocket on her anxiously.

[My Phone! Where is it?! GAH! Forget it! Hmph. Screw this sh**.] The small child pouted that everyone turned to her with sparkling awed eyes at her cuteness. She glanced towards them and glared whilst they kept mumbling about after turning away.

[Do I look suspicious? is that why they're being so cautious?] She thought, which was obviously the wrong idea as she wasn't in her original body anymore. Xiao Ai didn't feel it, she thought it was just merely a coincidence that she felt tired, after all, she did almost die.

"Hey Kid," A woman with long grey strings of hair and white silver hair that reached her calfs, red crimson lips and long eyelashes that seemed to shadow over her eyes, and white skin like the whipped cream Xiao Ai would sometimes lick and eat.

"..." Xiao Ai turned away and walked from the woman, the woman with fancy black robes and golden trims a dark black handbag at her arms and two bodyguards, smirked. There was a glint of interest in her purple lavender eyes.

[Hah...now I'm being called a kid, Jesus, why don't you make me a grandma will you? Hah...] Xiao Ai simply shook her head, she'd turned away from the woman as to not be belligerent, but it was to no avail.

[Footsteps, they seem to be fast-paced, it must be the woman from earlier. I'll lose them.] Xiao Ai dashed quickly with her small legs behind an alleyway out of breath and suffocated from all the running, she felt like she was being asphyxiated.

"AHH FUU AHH FUU AHH FUU..." Xiao Ai looked around and ran from the place, without knowing she was being watched from above the roof of a house by the strange woman.

[Why am I so tired? Even after not taking care of my body like I should, I shouldn't be like this. There's something off and wrong about this, no need. I need to keep running and report this, but first I must know where I'm at.] Xiao Ai dashed away meanwhile, with the strange woman from earlier.

"Your Majesty, We've got information on the girl," She snickered, a husky voice on the other side replied with, "Well then! Speak!" She smirked and started to tease, "But your Majesty, you don't happen to know that when making a trade one must have something of equal value to return, right?"

"hah...I'll give you the 10,000 emerald coins I promised..." They spoke regrettably, she smiled happily from the roof following behind the girl and responded, "She seems to be very aware of her surroundings almost as if she were a veteran from the war, Should we recruit her or fruit her?" She suggested, there was no harm done as long as the job was done. That was Delancy's job and she always finished thoroughly.

"Hm...Fruit her." He hung up from the small ear piece that was similar to a golden earring, she smiled and fingered for one of her guards to go on.

[Who knew the imperial family would be so cruel, but in a way it is to be expected, as they were always like that. So Pathetic, those two boys are so obsessed with their sister. Hah...]

CRACK!

"?!"

"Rudgar check the situation." Delancy ordered hastily, something was on her mind and she intended to find out how far that child would go.

CRACK! CRACK! CREEEAK!

"AGH!!!!" There was blood everywhere, the bones were twisted and hurt as the small child who could barely breathe stood there tired of it all. Her hands were scarred with nails that weren't even on her fingers there anymore, instead of nails they were replaced with flesh like she'd been fighting too extensively.

The woman with a sneer catwalk towards Xiao Ai as she backed away, Delancy glanced at the bodies of her two bodyguards and looked at the expressionless girl before her.

"Hey Kiddo, what do you think about being my successor?" She smirked, there were great chances that she could earn back what she'd had lost.

Her Husband. Her dignity and pride. Her sister. Her heart and her very human essence. She'd lost it all in a nonsensical war. When she looked back it looked pathetic, and so thus Xiao Ai responded with, "Hah..."

"Just so you know Madam, I do not take orders from just about anyone, and successor, What is this, the eighteenth century?" Xiao Ai responded coldly that even Delancy was surprised and didn't expect it. She chuckled and patted Xiao Ai's head as she jumped back.

[She's like a puppy, so cute~ It wouldn't hurt to keep her anyway, would it? The princes don't even know what she looks like. Seems like leaving those details out was a good idea after all.] She snickered, "My name is Delancy, What is yours?"

"My name is Xiao Ai." She replied tartly, Delancy with her hand stretched out put it back into her pocket, "Shinai?"

"Xiao Ai."

"Where's that from?"

"China."

"Where's that? I've never heard of such a place."

"Of course not you fool, you're basically the neighboring continent of china," Xiao Ai shrugged off, Delancy twitched in annoyance. [This kid has guts. What's a continent? And just what exactly is china? I should have it investigated soon.]

"Well then for now I'll call you Eques," She smiled hoping to melt away Xiao Ai's wall, but unfortunately for her Xiao Ai was trained for this kind of stuff.

[Old Lady, you must have it in for me because I'm Chinese, right? Hah. It can't be helped. After all, she is just feigning innocence, it's annoying too. Hm?] Xiao Ai finally looked down at her hands to see they were the size of a child's, she started to tremble and rushed over to Delancy.

"Hand me a mirror!"

"Hm? What's the magic wooorddd?~" She beamed getting closer to Xiao Ai, Xiao Ai snapped and snatched her bag searching for a mirror until she found a small one with golden trims, She saw a small chubby face with white long wavy hair that reached her knees and golden eyes like that of a beast.

"What did those w****s do!!! You s***ty scientists!!! How could you do this to me after being so loyal!!!???" Xiao Ai cursed, Delancy was surprised by the large vocabulary the little girl had.

"She's right there! The slave from the auction! Take her!" Men swarmed the alley with swords and staffs. [Ah...this is getting annoying.] Delancy sighed with a smile on her face, Xiao Ai got up and her eyes glowed a bright gold.

"The Slave..! She's..!"
