Their little snowflake

The snowflake knight is not a lab rat!

"What did those Idiots do!!! You s***ty scientists!!! How could you do this to me after being so loyal!!!???" Xiao Ai cursed, Delancy was so surprised by the large vocabulary the little girl had.

"She's right there! The slave from the auction! Take her!" Men swarmed the alley with swords and staffs. [Ah...this is getting annoying.] Delancy sighed with a smile on her face, Xiao Ai got up and her eyes glowed a bright gold.

"The Slave..! She's..! She's a beast! She can handle Astor!" The Leader shouted in joy and fear, as he had a smile but unfortunately his legs gave out and so did his piss.

"Wow kid, you really are full of surprises..." Delancy sighed with a helpless smile, Xiao Ai simply glanced at her as she shuddered. [Astor wielders really are scary...] Delancy smiled through twitches. Xiao Ai pounced from wall to wall in the alleyway not even visible anymore, she kicked a face or two and moved on to their legs and necks. [This is going far slower than I thought. I should've been able to go much faster. Only their leader is left. I...have to hurry...]

Xiao Ai's vision started to blur quite a bit but she kept on going as she felt her heart being pierced due to shock, she thought. [This small little body is so...we...ak] She fell on her knees unconscious as Lady Delancy picked her up.

"Hah...well, in the end she is a child." She smirked looking away from the slave auction gang leader, [this is my chance! that girl will fetch some good money along with that woman! this will make the boss rich!!] He daydreamed as Delancy and Xiao Ai had already left.

"Huh..? HUH??? WHERE DID THEY GO???!!?!"

A soft satin gown and a warm bed that was near a fireplace that warmed the body of the small child, a pillow that made Xiao Ai's head sink in in delight. A room that was filled with elegant decorations and accessories alike. There was a strong smell of cinnamon in the room as Delancy walked in, white polo shirt and black high waist jeans that highlighted her figure that looked like an hourglass.

The duchess had sharp eyes and somewhat thin lips, a white porcelain face and blister-filled hands. Pulling up her coal colored gloves she leaned over Xiao ai and brushed off a strand of hair in the way.

[anyone would think that this was the duchess' daughter if they saw them like that.] the butler sweat dropped as they handed Delancy a towel with cold water and placed it over Xiao ai's forehead.

"Kiddo, you must wake up soon, I'm waiting." Delancy's red crimson lips whispered into Xiao Ai's ears, they sounded like a sweet echo that had been merely a dream.

"Y-Your grace,"

"Hm?"

"Why are you so interested in the target?" The butler asked their master, Delancy couldn't help but want to stretch out Xiao Ai's cheeks but as to not cause her problems she decided to avoid her touch again.

"Well, Yoni, the reason? You should know by now, what I'm interested in is what she will offer. But this kiddo just so happens to have slipped into my sight, so there's no turning back now. She may just be the best weapon of them all," Delancy tucked Xiao Ai's body in as it huffed and puffed in with deep breaths. Her expression still and lifeless almost as if it's been through everything.

[aside from all that...she looks rather lonely, lifeless and dead. Earlier she seemed to have activated her Astor but then gave up as if there were no reason to keep on fighting. Just what has this child gone through that she acts up like a beast in the middle of war?] Delancy pondered clenching a fist through smiles and laughter.

"Just maybe she'll become the strongest in the continent, who knows? She might even be the successor that'll bring honor upon my family." Delancy shrugged as she simply walked towards her old friend and butler, Stephan and hung her arm around his neck lamely.

"My dear old friend, aren't you up for a bit of adventure? At least be a bit more fun. You've been a serious person through every small little joke I make, I'll hand you one of those chill pills in the afternoon," She teased lifting his chin and then leaving without trace.

"Hah...your grace, always so splendid and yet at the same time so annoying..."

"Did you say something Stephan?" Delaney's voice echoed through the halls, Stephan shrugged it off and sighed. [holy mother of Orsus-- her ears are so--]

"Stephan?"

"My Lady, you must have heard another servant speak ill of you, I'll cremate them immediately." He walked off with an annoyed expression, the room went silent and there was an emptiness that couldn't be explained. Quiet and empty, yet a place that felt so big made Xiao Ai feel like she was in prison or something.

"Mmm..."
