"Your Grace, Please, why are you giving this child something so crappy then?" Stephen interrupted, Delancy simply shrugged her shoulders and said, "One man's garbage is another man's treasure..?" She smiled, placing the crystal like gem shaped like a Crescent moon on Xiao Ai's chest.
"Besides, I got me a good one that's color is gold like the shining sun," Delancy winked giving Stephen a thumbs up, [Oh god just kill me...I wanna quit this job, if it weren't for the contract of 20 years I would've left 15 years ago!!] Stephen face-slapped himself.
CRACK!
"Wh-What's happening?!"
"I'm not even surprised..." A girl rolled her eyes in the background, everyone turned to the blonde in surprise.
"Who let this girl in?!"
"Your Grace..! The lady!" Marilyn exclaimed frightfully, the gem in the middle of her chest cracked and became dull and dark, thus a dark light shone on her chest as she struggled internally.
"Darn it!"
"DELANCY What have you done?!?! THE TRAUMA SHE HAS TO GO THROUGH BECAUSE OF YOU AGH!!!" Stephen couldn't hold it in and started to bicker, "SUCH A YOUNG KID HAS TO GO THROUGH THE SAME THING AS THE SERVANTS!!!" He shouted in the air, as everyone was frozen in time for a while except for the blonde girl.
"Hah...this is so cliche, typical knight becomes overpowered at a young age and becomes the Female Lead's pawn and then bla bla bla bla bla~ So overused! Let's rewrite this sh*t!" Thus Venus took her first step into a dark abyss of misery.
"Let's just save her and get this over with!" Venus walked over and stared at Xiao Ai's unconscious and stoic face. She scratched her head for a while, [Mm...Eques was never like this in the past..? Why is her expression like that? Eh- Whatevs] She simply slapped her face around 3 times.
[I am definitely not enjoying this. maybe.] She squinted at the sweaty and yet painless expression on Xiao Ai's face and sighed.
"HOW ARE THEY STILL FROZEN?!?!?!? THIS #&*@$^*$#@!!!! AGH!! SCREW THIS!" She grabbed the jewel on Xiao Ai's chest snatching it as hard as she could and released a grey crepuscular light.
Xiao Ai blinked several times to discern the blinding honey figure in front of her, but the exhaustion had gotten the best of her
"I'll come get you soon, Wait for me, Eques," She whispered, her voice sounded like the bells at churches, so distant and yet so memorable. Why is it? Xiao Ai had never felt this way so she wanted to know who it was until she heard the crack of the gem and the figure disappeared.
The left side of her hair had instantly turned black filled with corruption that reached the roots of her hair until it stopped.
Everyone unfroze unaware of what had happened during the time they were frozen, almost as if an angel had descended for a while.
[Who was that?]
"Ah! Shiyai! What happened?! Where's the gem?!" Delancy struggled to find the stone, until a small smile crept on Xiao Ai's face without anyone but delancy noticing.
"Shi...yai?"
Her expression went back to stoic like that of a stone and lifeless, "Hm?"
"No, it's nothing." Delancy shrugged off, [it's been 3 days and how is it that my heart leapt with joy as soon as I saw her smile for the first time?] she trembled.
"Little Lady, are you alright?" Stephen checked every corner of her limbs that was visible and sighed, "Did you happen to get injured..? Wait-- Your hair..! it's..!"
"Dark Corrosion!? This has never happened since the second generation of the Aereus duchy!"

"Hah..."
[Told you it was cliche...] The small girl smiled as she walked into the palace with a lollipop in her mouth sticking out improperly.
"Oh goodness! The Crown princess! Good lord!"
"Princess Venus is just like the goddess! Ahead of her time!"
"Cool new outfit Princess!"
She catwalked with her cane made of gold and bronze, lifting her dark sunglasses from her face, [Time for some revenge~ Ah how sweet!~] She cackled.
