my sister comes home

i wake up to my husband not in bed or not here and autumn isn't home either but i see a uhaul at a few houses down and i look in the house and everything is gone except the bed in our room and so i get up and go to the other house and i see someone i have been waiting to see for a long time. i seen her at ucan but its not the same she is no longer limited to what she can do or say. i start walking but i feel weak and Helena sees that so she runs to me and Dalton sees it to and he picks me up and takes me in the new house and sets me on the couch and i lay down.

" barb, when is this surgery." she asks

"its supposed to be the 31st but i got an email saying the doctor looked at our sonograms again and says we need to come in today and have it done cuz the baby is having trouble getting food because of the tumor so we will be leaving in an hour to go so i need to get ready.

(so i am gonna skip past until the surgery is over)

i wake up to see a hospital bed and feel my stomach and im still fat so i look over and see my husband asleep and my sister asleep and so i go back to sleep and when I wake back up the doctor comes in.

" barb, the tumor is removed and he is back where he belongs and you will have a tiny scar but its not very noticeable and you are gonna get mad but i seen two boys and a girl in there so you have three kids on the way so you most definitely have to stay away from work and it turns out you are 6 months not 4. so you have 3 months left and you get to meet these babies" she says

i lay back and relax because i know the baby is safe and nothing is wrong with the other kids but god damn how is it possible i have 3 babies like omg. how?

i throw a pillow at Dalton and he jumps up and looks at me.

"babe, has the doctor talked to you yet?" i ask

"yes and ik whats cooking in there so you aren't gonna be working for a while and we are gonna get you on unemployment because these kids need to have their mom when they are born and the doctor also said they found a problem with your health. they said due to you having heartburn acid reflux and also with how many babies are in there you will have to have a c section but they said they would make a small cut so you don't have a big scar and you are 6 1/2 months instead of 4 we thought it was 4 because of the babies but she looked and we have 2 1/2 months left. im getting so excited but we have to get home and start doing stuff and talking about having a baby shower for the babies and to be honest I was only wanting one kid in my stomach but its ok I guess.

"Babe, im ready to go home. when can we leave. I hate being at these hospitals so find out if we can get out of here. I want my bed and I want to start planning for the baby shower." I say

he gets up and goes to talk to the doctor and is gone like 10 minutes and then he comes back and sits down in the chair that's next to me

" the doctor said as soon as we get the discharge papers that we can go and we need to go back to the ob in like a few weeks to get another ultrasound and see how you and the baby are doing so once the doctor comes in and gives us the papers we can leave but you cant be doing too much work for at least 4 days and by work you know what I mean." he says

" so you mean no sex?" I ask

the doctor walks in

" so here are the discharge papers do u have any questions for me?" she asks

" I do. so can having sex hurt the babies?" I ask

" yes but as long as you don't have too much and you aren't rough with it just be gentle but I would recommend no penetration so oral is fine and anal is fine but vaginal is not recommended." she says
