Harry POV

I woke up early on Louis' birthday. He wasn't my boyfriend but I could give him one hell of a birthday.

I took his present from the back of my wardrobe and put it on my bed before getting dressed. After a few minutes I went downstairs with his wrapped gift and put it on the coffee table in the living room.

Mum and Robin were up and they had bought Louis two presents from themselves, an England football shirt and a big box of chocolate.

I helped Mum make breakfast, waffles.

Gemma came downstairs at eight thirty and helped us. Everything was ready on the table at nine o'clock when Louis came downstairs.

"Happy Birthday." I said, grinning at him.

"Thanks." Louis replied, receiving happy birthday's from everyone.

We sat down for breakfast, having waffles, whipped cream and maple syrup.

"Thank you so much, it was delicious." Louis said, once everyone had finished. Robin went to put the dishes in the kitchen and I lead Louis into the living room where his presents were.

"These are just from us. Oh and this one is from Zayn and Liam." I said, pointing to the present Zayn had slipped me the other day.

Louis smiled and opened the card from them both, reading it and then placing it back on the table, opening the present to reveal a framed photograph of Niall, Zayn, Liam, Louis and me in our university kitchen and a black tracksuit.

"This is going to make me look like a proper chav. I love it." Louis said happily, putting his gifts by his feet.

Next he opened the card from my parents and Gemma, followed by his presents, the England shirt, the chocolates and Robin pulled out a box of beer from behind the couch for him.

"Wow you guys, thanks." Louis said, hugging my mum.

Then he opened my card, I hadn't poured my heart out or anything, just said that I hoped he had a good day and that he was a good friend.

He opened my present, which was a big winter jacket with a furry hood.

"Nice one Harry, this is great. Thank you." he said.

I grinned and said he was welcome.

"So are we going to go sledding? The snow outside is perfect for it." Gemma said, looking out of the window at the bright white snow on the ground.

"Can we? That would be great." Louis replied.

"Alright, we'll leave at ten thirty. They have sleds to rent out." Mum said.

"I'll go get changed." Louis said and we all went upstairs to get dressed.

I picked some black jeans and a sweater and pulled them on, choosing a red patterned scarf from my collection. After making some last minute adjustments to my hair in the mirror I left my room.

Louis was downstairs wearing a black hoodie, a black cap and some jeans just like mine. Everyone was putting on coats and he tugged on the jacket I gave him, grinning.

I put my coat on and we got into the car, driving to the fields I grew up near. It was very pretty, there was a river and a bridge. We got out of the car and started walking, Louis looking around at the view.

"I had my first kiss down there." I said, pointing down to the river.

"It was against a tree, pretty steamy." I said, smirking at Louis. He grinned and we carried on walking.

Gemma lead us to the big slope where heaps of people were sliding down the snow. We got three sleds and Louis excitedly put his down in the snow.

"Ready?" he asked.

"Ready." I replied and we both shuffled forwards, slipping down the snow once we got to the slope.

The cold air swept my hair back and made my cheeks and nose slightly numb. At the bottom Louis swerved and his sled turned onto the side. I laughed at his dismount as he brushed snow off his clothes and he laughed too.

After forty five minutes of sledding we got cold and tired and handed the sleds back in.

As we were walking back I got pelted with a snow ball. Louis burst out in laughter and wiped snow from his hands. I scooped up a pile of snow and shaped it, hitting Louis square in the back.

We all joined in, Robin was particularly good. After a few minutes Louis crept up behind me, pulled back my shirt and jacket and dropped snow down my back. I screeched and Louis laughed.

I tackled him, both of us falling into the snow and rolling down a small hill. When we reached the bottom we looked up at each other, panting slightly. Louis had snow in his hair and he was grinning. I could trace his eyes to my lips and then our eyes met.

Leaning in our lips connected. Louis' nose was cold against my cheek. I pulled him closer, tasting his lips.

"Boys! Are you ready to go for lunch?" Mum called.

We pulled apart, both pink in the face. We smiled shyly and scrambled back up the snowy hill, joining the other three and walking back to the car.
