I was able to get a good sleep yesterday and now I feel ready for today, I went to take a bath and after the bath, I put up some clothes and made my way to the cafeteria. Six hasn't said anything to me about the mission so I suspected maybe he decided to go with other operators or maybe he is still busy with the details, whatever the case... I am ready.
I was in line to get my breakfast when all of a sudden I saw Ela eating by herself next to the window, I also noticed she was writing or drawing something in her notebook. I shook my head trying to stop myself from going there, I left without saying anything yesterday because April told me to, and knowing Ela if I go there she would probably verbal attack me in Polish OR show me more of that caring side of her, which would be nice, but I'm more inclined to be verbally assaulted by her.
"To the following operators: Dokkaebi, Tatcher, Blitz, Zofia, and (y,n). Your presence is required in the debriefing room," I heard Six voice through the speaker.
I was just about to seat to eat my breakfast when I heard my name, I put the tray on an empty table and grabbed the only thing I knew I could take with me, a sandwich. I went to the debriefing room but since I had no idea where it was I got lost and Grace found me wandering in the base like an idiot.
"(Y,n) come on! we are waiting for you!" Grace said. I nodded and followed her to the debriefing room
"Good, we are all here," Six said as soon as we entered the room
"I've called you here on short notice because we got an urgent situation going on, we have a hostage situation in progress in Saint Petersburg, Russia. A member of the Parliament was staying in a hotel called 'Lotte Hotel St. Petersburg' the intel says he was visiting his family," Six said
"I don't see any of the Russian here. Are they coming?" I asked
"They were called early in the morning because of that. That and the Russian Government has finally decided to remove the 'Spetsnaz' from Rainbow," Six said
"Why?" Blitz asked confused
"They say we are not fulfilling our job like we are supposed to. They were expecting the White Masks to be dealt with by now," Six said
"With the Spetsnaz out of Rainbow, that means we won't be able to operate inside Russia without permission," Six added
"Is there something we can do to get the Spetsnaz back?" Zofia asked
"I was able to convince them that if this hostage situation turns out to succeed they will join back," Six said
"Just that? They are not asking much. When do we leave?," I said as I turned around and prepared myself to leave the room but Six stopped me
"You don't even know what they want," Six said
"They are terrorists, Six. I don't care what they want, the only thing that matters is what we want, and what we want is the Russians back," I said
"I agree!" Thatcher said
After what I said we were told to get ready for the mission, we went to get our equipment at the armory. Six guided me to my spot, a place where I can throw all my equipment without having to go to the armory and waste my team getting ready there. It was a room made out of iron meshes and in the middle of the room, I saw a package.
"April put that together for you," Six said then left. I opened the package and saw what will become my uniform
