Stay.

Chapter 8

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock at 6am, I heard noises from the kitchen and remembered the awesome night I had. I smiled and fluttered my eyes open. Lynn was laying right beside me, her arm around my neck. I pushed the hair that covered her face and kissed her nose. She woke up with a gasp. "Calm down" I said quietly, running a hand through her tangled hair, "It's just me" She smiled at me and kicked the blanket off the bed. She sat up but then laid back down and kissed my cheek.

We finally got up to brush our teeth, I gave her a pink toothbrush and she pushed it away, "Lynn, babe its just a damn toothbrush" I said "But its p-p-pink, I hate pink." she complained, I gave her a purple one instead and she happily took it from me. We took a shower, changed clothes and did our hair and make-up.

We walked downstairs to the kitchen and told Lacy, Hayley and Alex good morning. Dane and the others probably left early this morning or yesterday night after I went to sleep. "Hey, girls" Lacy said to me and Lynn, "Hey, Lace" I replied tired. "Alex and Hayley are making waffles" she said, "Ooh waffles!" Lynn said out of the blue and walked to Alex and Hayley, Lacy and I giggled and continued our chat. "You rocked last night, dude!" She said loudly, I blushed and thanked her.

We all ate breakfast and left for school. I drove my car with Lacy and Lynn, we left pretty early because we had to stop by their houses to take their backpacks. Lacy sat in the backseat and listened to music with her headphones with a really high volume. I had my phone plugged into the AUX cable again and put on some Falling In Reverse.

As I waited in the car with Lynn for Lacy to get her stuff, I asked "Don't your parents get worried that you're out of the house all the time? I mean, you weren't home for two nights in a row and I didn't see you calling them at any time. Hell, I didn't see you with a phone." Lynn looked at me and grinned, "Well they know I'll come back. Back in New York I decided to spontaneously go hang around with a bunch of friends in a motel in New Jersey. I called my parents from a payphone two days later and they were like 'Yea okay hon, but just come back tomorrow' and I was just like 'Okay, I love you' they said it back and I ended up coming home a few days after that. I mean, I'm a huge troublemaker but at the same time they know I'm a good kid and that I would never smoke or do drugs or anything like that. And I have a deal with my mom that I tell her every time I drink or have sex, and I don't have a phone. So yea they don't really worry 'cause they have a lot of trust in me." I looked at her in surprise, "That's really cool of them" I said, she smiled at me and said "I know, I really love them. Plus they're really supportive with me being lesbian and stuff. I wanted to tell them when I was eighteen but they found out I had a girlfriend so.."

"You should meet them sometime" She told me as Lacy got into the car in a different outfit. "Meet who?" She said out of no where, I laughed and Lynn answered for me "My parents" she said. "Damn, you guys are going full speed. Goddamn guys, my boyfriend wanted me to meet his parents only after a year we were dating. Then he dumped me." Lacy reflected, she looked down with sad eyes. "Hey, Lace. He was a lame-ass boyfriend, a total jerk if he doesn't know what you're worth." She smiled at me and I started the engine and drove in reverse until I straightened the car and listened to Lynn as she directed me the way to her house.

We got to school and I parked the car in my usual spot in the student parking lot, I unplugged my phone and got out the car. Lynn and Lacy followed and we entered the front doors. I said goodbye to Lynn and walked with Lacy to our lockers.

(Three months later)

Lynn and I were getting really close but decided to take things slowly. Brian was now really part of our 'gang' and him and Dane were getting along pretty damn well. My mom took a break from work to be with me and my dad didn't go on any business trips for a while. 

On a Friday morning, I woke up feeling really bad. I asked Mom if I could stay home and she said yes. I stayed in bed all day in my pajamas and didn't eat or drink anything. It was around five in the afternoon and I got a call from Alex. 

"Hey, Alex. What's up?" I said in a husky voice from my soar throat.

"Alexa! I was so worried about you today. Where were you?" It was Lynn. I chuckled and told her I was home, sick.

Not even ten minutes went by and I heard a knock on my door. "Come in." I said, too tired to get up. Lynn opened the door and jumped on me. She wrapped her arms around me and hugged me tightly I groaned in pain.. "Whoa, you'll get sick. Don't get too close to me" I said, setting her down next to me. She smiled and started singing 'I Don't Care If You're Contagious' by Pierce The Veil. She kissed my burning cheeks and cuddled next to me, getting into spooning position. She was the big spoon, as always, and I was the small one.

"How did you get in anyway?" I asked, "Your mom let me in" she told me and I could feel her smile expanding. "Why are you so happy all the time?'I inquired, she giggled and turned me around so I was facing her. "It's better than getting depressed about every small thing. You just gotta find the good stuff. LIke, you're sick and I'm sad about that but at the same time, I get to be here right beside you. So I'm happy. I smiled at her and kissed her cheek. She embraced my feverish body and I hugged her back. 

The perfect moment was interrupted when Alex and Brian entered the room. "Hey girls!" Brian said. They both got into the bed with us and nearly pushed Lynn off the side. "Dude!" I whined. Alex turned on my computer and put on the movie 'If I Stay' that I had downloaded a few days ago but didn't have the time to watch. "Nooooo" Lynn cried, "What is it babe?" I asked her, "I don't wanna cry. Oh my god choose something else.". Brian chuckled and took control of the situation. He got into my Netflix account and put on 'Not Cool', the hilarious Shane Dawson movie. He took the laptop and put it on the end of the bed so we could all see. "I'll make some popcorn" Alex suggested and went downstairs to the kitchen.

We saw the movie and nibbled on the popcorn in silence, around the end of the movie I heard a small snoring sound. Lynn had her head on my shoulder, she was asleep. Brian and Alex laughed and I threw a handful of popcorn on them. "Let her sleep, assholes" They threw some popcorn at me and we all burst out laughing.

a/n: Hey! Sorry I didn't update in a while. I just had a little writers block and then I got sick and yea.. So hope you enjoyed and I'll start updating everyday again after spring break coz I'm flying to Florida tonight.
