(This one doesn't have as satisfying of a cut off as the other part and I do apologize for that)

"Damn, I honestly thought I'd never see you again, Nope." George looked up from his spot crouched by the gray cat.

"My name isn't Nope." He glared at Ella as she approached. "What are you doing out here again. Didn't you learn your lesson from last time we met?"

"First off, it happened one time and those guys are dead, so it's not they're going to be messing with me again." She chuckled. "And second, when I asked for your name you said 'nope', and I think it's very fitting. You are very 'nope' if you know what I mean."

The little teasing smile she had just made George's skin boil. Why did this girl have to be so annoying?

"I actually do not know what you mean. But I stand by not telling you my name. As for you being out here. There are more people like those two Alphas, you know that right? Like I said last time, there's no authority out here it's like a free for all. People do whatever they want, whenever they want. It's not safe. Especially for an Omega of your age."

"Then what are you doing out here?" Ella crossed her arms and looked at him as he continued to pet the cat.

"I live here."

"You live here." She raised an eyebrow, not convinced.

"Yes"

"How on earth do you live here? The buildings are falling apart!" She opened her arms to motion at the crumbling building next to them.

"I never said that I lived in one of these buildings. I just said I lived here. Not where here. It's quite a large city." He stood and the cat looked up at him then to Ella before scurrying off.

"Whatever. So since I found you again, I wanted to ask you some questions."

"What are the questions?" He turned to her, wiping the dirt off his pants.

"Well first off why do you dress like that? Isn't that the same thing you were wearing last time I saw you?" She looked at him as if she was disgusted at the idea.

"First off, it is. I got it cleaned. Second off, I can wear what I want. Not everyone can afford to have a different outfit everyday like you." Now it was his turn to cross his arms. Frustrated by her ignorance.

"Right, sorry. Okay. So why do you live out here? Why don't you live in town?" She eyed him curiously.

"Strangely enough, I feel safer out here. I can more easily protect myself here than there." He bent down to begin to gather some of his things he had put down when petting the cat.

"So you'll tell me these things but not your name?"

"My name gives you an identity. Telling you I got my clothes cleaned or that I live in the old city or that I can protect myself doesn't really give you much. You don't know exactly where I live, like I said this is a large city. Not that easily navigated unless you know it. I know it like the back of my hand. So if you were to tell me you lived here I would probably be able to figure out a general area. But me telling you doesn't help you much judging by the fact that you probably don't know it as well as I do." He grabbed the strap of his bag and threw it over his shoulder. Standing to face Ella again.

"That's rather cocky of you. How do you know I don't know the city like the back of my hand."

"If you did, I don't think you would be here."

"And why is that?"

"This is on the opposite side of the city as your house and is a rather dangerous area to be in unless you know what you're doing." He turned away from her, entering one of the crumbling buildings.

"Well, um. Okay, fine. So what if I'm a little lost?"

George let out a light chuckle, climbing the stone stairs.

"Hey! Where are you going?" Ella peeked her head into the build looking up the stairs towards George. "Home. You should too." He replied.

"Oh come on, don't be like that. Can you at least point me in the direction of my house?" He could hear her begin to follow him up.

"Sure, just go back the way you came."

"Not funny." George stopped, sighing, why was he always put in these situations. "Look, I can't always just take you home to your mommy and daddy every time you get lost, okay? You are not my responsibility. Got that?"

George stared at her for a moment before turning and continuing up the stairs.

"Fine, I'll just follow you then."

George groaned, running his hand over his face and glancing over his shoulder at her. "Fine, I'll take you home. But if this happens again I will be bursting into your front door and announce right where I found you. Clear?"

"Yeah whatever." Ella waved him off. "We should be getting on our way shouldn't we? It's getting kinda dark."

"We're going to travel through the building tops this time, it'll be faster." They finally reached the top, the roof door ajar and decaying.

They stepped out onto the roof.
