"Ok what is this?" Bobby asked as he saw you unpacking a bunch of ingredients on the firehouse's kitchen counter. "You know the kitchen is my dominion." He joked.

"It's just a bit of a tradition at Christmas parties that I have with my friends. See, we do a cookie competition, and then the winner gets to take home all of the leftovers to their families on Christmas Day." You explained. He nodded and smiled. You'd mentioned that you were spending Christmas alone for the first time since moving to town. He also knew that everyone was planning on taking their Christmas to yours as a surprise.

"Well. If it's a tradition we can't miss out. Guys. We have a team building exercise. (Y/N) and Buck, you're one team. Eddie you're with me and Hen you're with Chimney." Bobby called. Everyone milled over and looked at the packs that you'd bought with you. Everything needed to make elaborate gingerbread houses filled the side.

"So what're the rules?" Buck asked you.

"Your house has to stand on its own and you have to include one of these." You said as you pulled the last thing from the bag. You had made tiny handmade marshmallow people that roughly resembled the 118.

"Hey! That's me!" Chimney said as he picked up one.

"Oh this is too adorable to eat." Hen said as she picked up hers and inspected the little helmet you'd made of chocolate.

"Your house can fall down as many times as.. It does. But it has to be standing by the designated time." You explained and looked around. "You can't use additional ingredients, just these and you can't swap team members."
"Ok. I've got this. I demolished gingerbread houses." Buck said confidently.

"We're trying to build them." You reminded him as Bobby set a timer and everyone agreed that the time should be up at the end of the shift. Everyone hurried to get their bundles of gingerbread and started plotting.
