Tauril had found a trail on the top side of a cliff, that Legolas, Aragorn, and Gimli had taken. She followed the path down, to see boulders packed together in the same area. The boulders were on the outside of the path. Tauriel looked down at the path, seeing many orc tracks leading outside of the boulders. She followed the footprints that smashed the tall green grass. She kept riding in the direction of the foot prints, later finding a group of horse prints, together in a circle.
"They must of came in contact with men of Rohan." whispered Tauriel to herself.
Tauriel gave her horse a gentle kick on the side to start riding on the path again. As she rode on, she saw smoke in the distance. It was fairly big, enough to get anyone's attention. Tauriel rode to the smoke.
When she came upon the smoke, Tauriel saw a pile of dead orcs stacked on top of each other. Their bodies were burning to dust.
"The humans must of done this," mumbled Tauriel. "After all, Rohan doesn't like it when strangers enter their land."
She turned her head in the direction of the forest, near the pile of burnt orcs. Tauriel hopped off her horse and walked toward the line of trees. She saw three different types of foot prints at the edge of the forest.
"Foot prints of Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas," mumbled Tauriel. "They must of gone into the forest."
Tauriel saw smaller tracks, that were away from Legolas and his companions. There were two sets, but they were alike. She knew that it was a hobbit foot print. As well as an orc print.
"They must of gone in to help the hobbits with the orc." realized Tauriel.
