And every night
There was a visitor in my dreams
A faceless answer to all my desires
Like the calling of life
Someone like me, weird and funny
Someone that held my hands
That feeling of belonging
Of romance and satisfaction
Of feelings and emotionsThe visitor in my dreams was
A nameless entity
That swept me off my feet
Every night with his presence
Warm and comforting
Yet so distant, so unachievable
Someone that might
Set me alive just with a touchBut they were hopeful dreams
Dreams to ward of the terrible loneliness
That gnawed at me
Plaguing my waking hours
Where I'd search for that familiarity
In real life and end up
With a wider voidAnd almost all nights he came
Almost like a mocking tease
Reminding me of what
I couldn't have, perhaps
But still he had no identityAnd one day you walked in
Straight into my dreams
Bumping into me like a coincidence
More than intricate celestial planningAnd all of a sudden
The faceless entity had a name
That I could whisper slowly
A skin that I wanted to touch
A voice that I wanted to hear
Like a lullaby to soothe my heart
A feeling that was unique
That dragged me in fullyAnd then you walked in
Into my waking reality too
And the faceless visitor had a look
A way of smiling
A distinctive touch
A voice to remember
A feeling beyond any waking hours
And slowly but surely
The faceless visitor
Became the name my lips cherish
Irreversibly, irrationally and irrevocablyThe boy of my dreams
The only man of my dreams
