"You can turn around now, I'm done" I waste no time turning around to face her, any air in my lungs is instantly knocked out of me.

I don't see Sami that much, I just couldn't stand seeing her in another mans hoodie even if it's just Samuels. I clear my throat before I sit on my bed, waiting for her to break the silence.

"Do you have a book that you think fits me yet?" Her soothing voice breaks the silence, I shake my head. Truth is although she's intruded my thoughts I haven't done much in terms of the project.

I'm more curious about her sister but I haven't pushed the subject, I hope she'll open up on her own.

"No" I reply, her smile drops. Fuck. She quickly masks her disappointment, she looks at me quizzically for a few seconds before speaking up again

"W-Why" she begins but stops, I can see her nervously pick at the holes in her jeans. "Ask" I prompt her to continue

"Why do you only let me call you Kol?"

I shrug in response, I never really liked my name. It didn't sound right when others said it but when she says it, it sounds so beautiful. Like it was meant for her and her alone. I didn't expect Tessa to call me by my first name at the party. It took me off guard, instantly ruining my mood for the party.

"You gotta give me something Kol" amusement crosses her face

Do I be honest?

"You make my name sound good" I make sure to make my voice a bit lower than normal. I smirk knowing how she's going to react. Just on cue her beautiful eyes widen and her cheeks tinge red, I don't miss how she squeezes her thighs together.

Good wholesome thoughts

"Since I know so much about you, why don't you just shoot rapid fire questions at me?" I ask, honestly Im not sure what it us about her but I feel comfortable talking. Most people are boring, self-centered and too caught up in trying to flirt than to hold any sort of conversation, but with her everything is easy.

"What's your favorite season and why?"

"Winter, I love the cold."

"Mines summer" She replies, even though she doesn't have to answer the questions she does anyways. I don't mind, I want to know everything about her.

"Are you a better talker or listener?" She taps her chin, "actually nevermind I know it's listener" she giggles to herself

How cute

"What is something you hoard?"

"I don't really hoard much, but probably cologne" Her tongue slightly pokes out from the corner of her mouth as she concentrates on typing every word I say, not wanting to miss a beat.

"Hm, what age do you feel like?"

"104" I deadpan

Her eyes shoot up from her laptop, a playful smile creeping on her lips. I can tell she's going to say something stupid "Don't tell me you're secretly a Cullen"

I gasp, clutching my chest in mock shock "You've seen me shine in the sun? I thought my foundation game was better than that!" My response makes her laugh hysterically, I'd do anything to continue hearing that sound.

Wiping her eyes she moves on to the next question "When was the last time you felt excited? And what was it for or because of?"

"Oh, shi- fuck, I'm so sorry" A light voice mutters, I look down as she's gathering her things. She begins standing up and I can't keep my eyes off her. "I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." She looks up, her eyes finally meeting mine. My heart begins pounding, I can't seem to formulate words like I'm under a spell. While normally I'd already tell them off for bumping into me the words are caught in my throat

I cant tell her the last time I felt excited was when she first bumped into me.

"I'm not sure" the answer isn't a total lie, before that day I can't remember the last time I was excited, or when my heart was threatening to burst out of my chest.

"Oh! I have a good one" She doesn't push me about the last question, which I'm thankful for. "What embarrassing moment has stuck with you over the years" she chews on the end of her pen.

"When we were walking up the stairs and you tripped" I replied monotonously, "KOL!" She shrieks her face suddenly resembling that of a tomato. "I meant something embarrassing you did!" she groans throwing her pen at me covering her face with her hands.

"Look at me, Mìlo" Slowly she does as I say, her eyes meeting mine

Good girl

"I'm just not embarrassing" I shrug, twirling the pen between my fingers.

"Yea right, Stevens" She narrows her eyes at me, causing me to drop my pen.

"Take it back"

"No"

"Take it back or else" I narrow my eyes back at her

"No"

"Okay" I sigh, "you asked for it" I stand up from my bed, stalking towards her. Soon I'm standing in front of her, I already tower over her but even more so when she's sitting. I grab her laptop, closing it and setting it aside before picking her up and throw her over my should

"KOL!" She yells, "Put me down! Right now!" Her laughter fills the room as she begins hitting my back. I throw her on my bed, admiring the view before I being my attack

"Take it back!" I repeat while snaking my hands under the hoodie tickling her sides, She squirms beneath me but is unable to get out of my grip

"N-Never!" She exclaims breathlessly

"Okay you asked for it"

I remove my hands, deciding to go for the kill

I quickly move my hands to tickle her neck

"O-Okay!"

"Okay what mìlo"

"OKAY I take it b-back Kol!" She takes a deep breath as I stop tickling her, giving me time to notice our close proximity but I don't move

I love how she smells

One she catches her breath her eyes meet mine, I raise my hand stroking her cheek with my index finger. Her eyes darken as she notices our close proximity

It's now or never Stevens

I close my eyes and lean down, I always wondered what her lips tasted like

"Kol Stevens get your butt down here!"
