Persephone has been ignoring me ever since the day she saw Natalia kissing me. It's been slowly killing me.

Not hearing her laugh, not feeling her touch, not kissing her, not even seeing her smile at me

Im not sure why Tessa pulled that stunt, I can't stand her.

I didn't want to kiss her, she had come up to me and kissed me. I just hope Persephone knew that. I wasn't going to force her to talk to me. I had already tried in the beginning

"Persephone" I poke her arm, please pay attention to me. "Persephone" I drag out her name lowly, I see how I affect hers every shiver, every time she squeezes her thighs together, when he eyes dilate getting a tad bit darker. It's my favorite thing.

The sun fills the classroom, hitting Persephone perfectly. Illuminating her gorgeous features. I cant help but stare, then again I always stare at her. Her smooth beautiful skin, her honey brown hair, pink full lips, adorable button nos- "stop staring at me Kol" She whispers, she tries to be stern but I see the smallest smile on her lips.

"Oh, you're talking to me again?" I tease, "No." that's a lie, she bites the inside of her cheek when she lies.

At least she still calls me Kol.

"Kol?" Samuels voice snaps me out of my memories. "Yea?" I quickly answer. "You're going to break your pencil if you keep squeezing it that hard" he slowly reaches pulling it out of my grip. "There you go buddy you're safe now" he taps the pencil.

How we are still friends I'll never understand.

"Stevens, you're clearly worried about her" what- no

"That obvious?" I run my hand through my hair. It's quite unlike Persephone to ever miss school, something just feels wrong. I need to check on her, I need to make sure she's okay. Even if she hates me and never speaks to me again

I get up, abruptly leaving in the middle of class. "Sorry Mrs. Ken, Kol just has explosive diarr-" Samuels voice fades outs as I get further from class

Note to self, beat his ass later

I pick up my pace as my gut feeling intensifies, hastily shoving my hand in my pocket grabbing my keys. Maybe I'll take her out to ice cream. It's a nice day out and her eyes always shine a bit brighter when she's outside, enjoying nature.

Hopping in my car I make my way to her house, speeding, running every red light.

Something feels extremely wrong

Pulling into her driveway, I put my car in park, getting out quickly not bothers to turn it off or shut my door. As I approach her house I hear...sobs?

Not just anyones sobs her sobs, my heart beats erratically

The front door is open, I run not prepared for what I might see. Turning the corner to her front door I'm frozen

What I see is worse than anything I could have imagined.

"P-Persephone?" I say, shocked unable to move, Tears stinging my eyes
