Levi x Reader: Yes Sir

The Capture

The morning is bright, but cold. It started snowing last night and so there's a blanket of shimmering snow on the ground. You didn't mind the snow all that much, but the cold sucked. You started back up the fire to warm up the house. The smell of the smoke flew into your face and it made your eyes water. Once it had a nice height to it you laid down on the floor next to the fire. You thought, "I wonder what will happen today. We are supposed to go on an expedition where a town got attacked by a mob of titans...take out the remaining ones and then help evacuate the people." You sigh and put your arms under your head resting on them. Connie walks into the room. "What are you doing up so early?"
"A noise woke me up earlier and I couldn't go back to sleep."
"Ah I see."
You two never had the most meaningful or lively conversations, but you enjoyed each other's presence since it felt simple and nice. Jean, Eren, and Armin walk over to you all and Jean gives Connie a smack. "What was that for?!"
"Good morning!" He smiles at him.
You just laugh at them and how ridiculous they can be. You honestly enjoy it. Sasha and Mikasa come back from outside being on watch. Sasha opens the door and says, "I smell a fire...does that mean there's food?"
Levi enters the room with a box full of those nasty energy nutrient bar things. You hated them. Sasha exclaims, "no! Please anything but those!"
"Tch. Be grateful brat."
You and the others stifle laughs.

The other scouts had been spread out to cover more area so your squad would just be together on this expedition. The homes around you had been basically destroyed. It reminded you of when the titans broke into your town and murdered almost everyone. You glanced over at the others who clearly were having the same memories resurface. Levi looks over at you and says to you all, "there are families around here in these houses that haven't collapsed. We will spilt up so we can evacuate them faster." He splits us up and you're with him and Eren. This was mostly because you knew people were after Eren and you and Levi were the most capable of protecting him. The others quickly went over to the remaining houses and began their tasks. Your group heads over to a tall apartment. The top had crumbled and the only part left were the two bottom floors. You enter and Levi shouts, "anyone here?" You step over broken glass and then hit one shard causing loud crunches. Other than that it is dead silent. Eren says, "I don't think there's anyone here guys..." as you add, "...it's too quiet." There was a weird and ominous vibe in the apartment. You glanced over at Levi giving him a worried look. He just stares back with a faint worry in his eyes. You shout just in case, "hey is anyone in here? We're here to help!" The three of you explore the area and find nothing. Something feels off and you suggest you should leave. A door behind you creaks and you and Levi being in front of Eren quickly pull out your blades by reflex. You hear a subtle whistling sound of wind fly near your face and then a sting in your neck. You grab your neck in pain and look at the others. They are doing the same thing. Levi's eyes widen and Eren falls to the ground as your legs give out. Your head slams to the ground and you see a group of guys come out of the door. Levi lands beside you and you're facing each other. You hear him curse under his breath and his eyelids flutter and then close completely. You struggle with all your body and might to move, to do anything. This was bad. Your heart was racing. Then the fear turns to calm as whatever was shot into you took effect. You heard muffled voices and footsteps and something about Eren. You lost consciousness.

The ground below you moved up and down throwing you around. Your neck hurt and your wrists stung. Your head was pounding. Your surroundings were unknown and you couldn't open your eyes or move at all. You seemed to be coming in and out of consciousness and it was one of the most irritating feelings ever. Then it was all dark again with no end of the darkness in sight.

Your eyes struggled to open. The ground beneath you was hard and cold. You moved your fingers and felt it was stone of some kind. Your back was against something. It felt familiar and wasn't cold like the rest of your surroundings. You shook your head to keep from falling back asleep.
"Y/n? Are you awake?"
"Levi? Is that you?"
"Yeah."
You sigh, "we're really screwed aren't we?"
He sighs as well and answers, "...whatever they do we can't tell them anything okay? You understand that right?"
"Yes sir. UHm what exactly do you think they're going to do?" Your mind is racing and anxiety is currently all you feel.
"Nothing good so be prepared. We've been through worse after all." You lean back so your head is on his shoulder. You can almost see him as you catch a glimpse of his hair. Your breathing becomes shaky and before you know it you're laughing. You let it out and it fills the room.
"Y/n what the hell? Are you laughing?"
Your eyes fill with tears and you can't stop your laughs.
"Oh-" you keep laughing. "S-sorry" and finally after what feels like minutes, your fit of laughter is over.
"So...y/n...you never told me you were insane..."
"I'm notttt. I just laugh at the worst times. It's not good and I don't know how to stop it."
"Sounds like you're crazy."
"Heyyy. I don't need your bickering right now Captain."
"Tch"
Your emotions were everywhere right now. Why were you laughing in a situation like this. Maybe Levi is right. Oh well. "More fun that way" you thought.

The door to the musty and every now and then, water-dripping room opens. A tall man with short blonde hair walks in with a cart of who knows what. You don't recognize him at all. He's wearing a military police uniform. Of course he is. You think to yourself, "Tch" and realize you've been hanging around Levi too long.
"Rise and shine sleeping beauties." He says. What a compliment.
You just give him a cold stare and he looks taken a back. "Is that supposed to scare me?"
You don't answer and just make your glare even darker. He shrugs it off, but honestly he did look a bit concerned by your look.
"So...if you're not complete idiots then you know why you're here. We want Eren and we also want to know what you found in his cellar."
You sigh and await for what will transpire.
