Levi x Reader: Yes Sir

The Loss

(Flashback)
"I gotta go check on Eren to make sure he's feeling better. I think being kidnapped really screwed with his head."
You leave Levi's bed to go see Eren, but Levi grabs you by the waist pulling you back down.
"Hey!"
You laugh and roll over to look him in the eyes.
"You're not going anywhere."
"I have toooo."
He wraps his arms around you so you can't leave.
You give in and say, "fine...I guess it can wait..."
You're face to face with Levi. You look into his eyes which are a deep dark blue. They tend to change a lot and you like noticing the different colors they can be.
"You're beautiful Captain" you say smiling.
"Tsk. Am I?"
You reach your hand up to his face slowly then on the back of his neck pulling him closer to you saying, "yes you are" and you kiss him. Your kiss is gentle at first, but then he grabs your hands and is laying on top of you. His lips move to the side of your neck. You close your eyes and hold his hands tightly. You don't want this moment to ever end. But it must. It always does.

"What the hell was that sound?!"
You quickly turn and see Eren in his titan form fighting Bertholdt, the colossal titan. Bertholdt slams him into the wall dragging his face across it. You look at Levi.
"Captain should we help Eren sir?" you ask and Armin quickly adds, "We have to!"
Levi says, "Armin's right...Eren is using up a lot of strength. I'm not sure how much more he can handle."
Connie flies to your group holding Mikasa while yelling, "she got hit in the head!"
Levi calls back, "set her over here and protect her. We're going to help Eren."
"Right."
Eren screeches and your ears ring from the sound. Luckily Reiner was passed out at the moment so you only had to worry about Bertholdt. You use your gear to fly closer to the fight.

"When we make it to the sea you two, that's how we'll know we've done it" you say to Armin and Eren. Mikasa walks over to you three and says, "I'll be there too."
Armin says, "we will all be there" and smiles.
Eren beams and looks at you, "yeah...we will make it to the sea!"
You nudge them both with your shoulders.
"I'm glad I'm in your squad" you say smiling.
Mikasa looks at you, "I'm glad you're in our squad too y/n."
You sit back imagining what it'll be like when you all make it to the sea.

Eren screeches again and it sounds bad. You see Jean being flown back from the steam of the colossal.
"Captain your orders?"
He stares straight ahead focusing on his mission.
"We split up and try to take down his legs. Armin you stay close to Eren okay?"
You both answer, "yes sir!"
Eren seems to look at you all noticing your presence. Out of nowhere Bertholdt grabs Eren practically folding him in half and looks like he's going for the nape...but with his mouth....
"Captain! I think Bertholdt is trying to take Eren's power not kidnap him!"
His expression darkens and as we make it to Bertholdt trying to cut him down, you have the perfect view of the tragedy that occurs. It happens in real time, but it doesn't appear that way. It looks as if it's in slow motion. You see Bertholdt bite into Eren's nape tearing him out of the titan body. You also see Armin a few feet away screaming.
You think, "no no no no!"
As Eren is being pulled up to Bertholdt's mouth, you catch eyes with him. There is no fear in his eyes, but rather a look of longing. You launch forward along with your comrades to save Eren, but it's too late. Before you can reach him he's gone. Eren is dead. You go up to the colossal's nape about to slice it out, but Bertholdt appears out of the skin. You hold your blades to his throat.
"Are you happy now?! Did you get what you wanted?!"
He throws his hands up in surrender.
"Don't give me that look you coward! You're a liar and betrayed us all! I understand what you did and why you did it, but did you have to kill everyone?!"
He stares at you in shock. Armin and Levi stand beside you. Armin stares vacantly clearly despaired by the situation.
"Y/n...do not kill him" Levi orders.
You turn your eyes to face him and ask, "why the hell should I not?!"
Levi begins to speak, but Armin interrupts still staring at nothing saying, "he's right...that wouldn't do any good...we've lost everything." He looks up at him. "Bertholdt you betrayed us all...you ruined our lives and killed all of our friends and family...if you're not the supposed devils everyone says you are then let us go. Let us go live on our own and have our peace. There's nothing left for us and we aren't a threat."
"We can't just give up!" You yell and Levi looks at the ground then at you, "Bertholdt, can you make an agreement with your people to let us go on our own?" He pulls out a case in which the last syringe of our titan spinal fluid is held in. "If we give this to you...you have what you came for and more. You have no reason to hunt us down anymore. Like Armin said, we aren't a threat."
He looks at Levi and says, "I- I don't know I-"
You push your blades closer to his neck and say coldly, "you'll make it happen or we will kill you and Reiner right now."
Levi puts his hand on your shoulder as Armin adds, "Bertholdt, you took everything from us...please"
He looks regretful, maybe even guilty, but you don't buy it.
"Okay. I'll make it happen."
You lean closer to him staring him straight in the eyes saying, "don't let your people come anywhere near us."
This cycle of violence will never end, but maybe it can for us.
The Beast titan and cart titan come back holding Reiner. Zeke asks, "is it done?"
Bertholdt looks up at him, "yes. But we have to talk to our people about letting them go"
Zeke looks down seeing your blades at his neck.
"I see...we will see what we can do. Although do they really deserve to live?"
Do we?
They grab Bertholdt and are gone just as soon as the came. You fall to your knees. Levi wraps his arms around you holding you tightly. It's over. It's all over. Jean is standing in the distance with tears falling down his face. Armin looks up to the sky as a stray tear slides down his cheek. You can't cry. It's too much. You punch the ground beneath you as Levi lets go of you. You scream out punching over and over again until the ground is stained with your own blood. The tears come then at that moment. You sit down going limp. Levi stares at you then sits next to you looking at his own hands. He sits there a long time thinking about all of the people he has lost. Everyone is silent for the longest time. No words would serve any purpose at this moment. Everything is wrong and nothing feels right. Your emotions once exploding, turn to a numb feeling that turns you cold. You hated this familiar feeling.
