Dominos Fall More Gracefully Than We Did

"So, my dears, your teams will be competing against each other for the summer, as you are all of similar ages, except the councilors," Mrs Weller raised an eyebrow at the boys, who in return all gave her a charming smile. "First challenge, blanket balloon toss."

"That sounds dirty." Michael whispered to Luke, who chuckled, causing everyone's attention to turn to them, except mine who was already on them... Because I was just making sure they weren't thinking about cheating... Yeah.

Mrs. Weller had gathered us all after lunch, My Little Ponies, Ninja Turtles and another group called Changu-Mangus, which consisted of five girls, to tell us information on what the challenges were and who we'd be competing against.

"As you can see on your schedules that I gave to you a minute ago," Mrs. Weller continues, ignoring Michael's remark. " all information is presented in there, such as what challenges are when and which group it is against."

I scanned my eyes over the schedule and noticed that today my team would be going against Ninja Turtles... Great.

"So, Changu-Mangus, you will be allowed to go else where, as today's challenge is not for you, or you can stay and watch." Mrs. Weller said before looking back at us, fixing her glasses that were on top of her nose and reading out of one of the many pieces of paper that were held in her hand.

As she explained the game I zoned out. I'd heard of the game before, I have even played it here before. Basically a team throws water balloons at the other team from a distance, and the other team, who is holding a blanket, needs to catch as many as possible. Then you swap the teams over and the one who caught the most balloons wins.

"... and finally, the winning team's leader, will have the pleasure of daring whoever they want from the other team to do something, within reason." She explained and I could feel myself smirk.

Maybe I could get Louis, who we all agreed would be the team leader, to dare Michael to dye his hair a crazy colour. I know his hair already is red, but I was thinking something like blue or even better, pink.

I could see Michael smirking at us, as he had been chosen as the team leader, he would be the one daring. He can not win this.

"First team holding the blanket is..." Mrs. Weller read out. " My Little Ponies."

We all walked towards the blanket and each grabbed a section of it. The other team walked over to a bucket that was filled with water balloons and grabbed one each, an evil grin on their faces.

"Calum, you may throw the first one, so they can do a trial test." Mrs. Weller said, and Calum nodded, before throwing the balloon up in the air.

The whole team ran towards it, and managed to catch it in the blanket, making us feel rather proud and maybe a tiny bit cocky.

As Mrs. Weller said the word "Go!" we were bombarded with water balloons. They were coming in from everywhere, some hitting me in the face, some hitting the floor.

I felt the blanket being tugged away from me multiple times as everyone tried to run in a different direction to get the water balloons.

Basically it was a complete mess. Especially when me and Jade ran into each other, which caused me to loose my balance and slip on a piece of broken balloon that lay on the ground. I fell on top of her, which made her fall on top of Niall, and just like domino's, we all ended up wet and on the floor, with all the balloons rolling around on the floor as they escaped the blanket.

I looked up to see the other team laughing at us, along with Mrs. Weller trying to hide a smile. Anger bubbled inside of me as I realized that I was the one who slipped, so I was the one who had ruined the game for the team, but as I looked around and saw everyone sprawled out on the floor, hair and clothes sticking to their body and the clothes dirty with mud, I couldn't help but laugh too, and soon enough we were all laughing at our fail.

"Well, that was... Interesting." Mrs. Weller said, writing something away on a piece of paper. "How many balloons are still on the blanket?"

We all looked at the blanket and saw one balloon still rolling around and quickly ran towards it, to make sure it wouldn't roll out of the blanket.

"One." Harry said proudly as he high fived Louis.

"Well, one point to My Little Ponies I guess..." Mrs. Weller said before motioning for us to swap positions.

"We need to do the same to them. Just throw the water balloons everywhere and they will all run in different directions just like we did." Zayn whispered to the rest of the group. We all nodded in agreement and when Mrs. Weller said the word, we threw the balloons at them like completely mad people.

You see, the difference between them and us, is the fact that they knew that to beat us, they only needed two balloons, so they just stood still and awaited for a few balloons to drop into the blanket, and soon enough, the game ended as we ran out of balloons, and they had managed to have four balloons land on the blanket.

"Ninja Turtles win!" Mrs. Weller said and our team groaned in annoyance, while the other cheered and hugged each other. "You now have until the end of the day to dare a person of the opposite team."

Michael smirked at me as those words were said, and in the back of my mind, I knew I was the one who he was going to dare. I just wanted to slap the smirk out of that pretty face.

"Prepare yourself huh?" He whispered in my ear as he walked past me, causing a shiver to run down my spine, which I decided was due to the fact that my clothes were wet.

"If you're trying to sound intimidating, it's not working." I said as I crossed my arms over my chest as everyone started walking back to their cabins to get cleaned up. "You actually look rather stupid with the hair dye running down your face."

"Shit happens..." He shrugged as he tried wiping it away.

"Anyway, what's my dare?" I asked, and he smirked at the question, as if he was enjoying me not knowing what's going to happen next as he always does this when I ask a question.

"That, my dear Michael, will soon be revealed." He simply said before turning around and walking towards the boys cabins.

Jesus Christ, this boy will be the end of me.
