Little Free Libraries

They're around this very corner,

Standing tall in a yard

Or standing along the border,

Finding one is not that hard.

Sometimes they're square,

Or few can be round.

They can be full of books or bare,

Perched like a tree in the ground.

Open the door and see what's inside,

You might find something with good looks,

Little things trying to hide,

And maybe an even better book.

You can find so many fun things,

Surprises of the best kind,

The knowledge of kings,

Something to soothe your mind.

It catches you on its hook

To pull you in to a free book.
