whisk me away into the sunset,
into the wild abyss of carousels,
cherish the sorbet
anywhere would be fine
as long as it's not the cloud
of yesterday, not the nine
mustn't fret, oh what'd they say?
cherishing the solemn oath of knotted
long forgotten the mayday
i bequeath you with my heart
the one amiss, the one they don't see
the subject of your muse,
the faeries they doated
you are the beholder, devoted
gleam of clarity, serendipity obtuse
i'm broken, a refined pathetic excuse
you're an angel, a godsend,
how come the outlander?
washed up in the deep end
do i drag you down, oh sweetheart?
if so, i never intended
somehow, my beloved, your dreams i
thwarted
for i know not of love
but of endless sorrow
just the unceasing blisters
no sole to borrow
honey, will you still be home,
when i get there?
or will you be at the shore
with the turtles of the land narrow
or will you be at the heart of the city
or diving up into the sky
for a fallen angel,
the only place alright.
you pulled me up when i pushed you
you walked with me
were a shoulder to lean on, my beau
your ardency i feared but relished
how do i sing i love you too
when hymns of loathing
were all i slept to?
you're weary of my detachment,
i can tell,
you're well within your rights to
maybe it's all your flaw,
for trying to hug the fallen feathers
when they are only meant
to be swept away for good
{heavy rains, weakened tethers}
your back to me, my heart in throat
blurred eye sight, i look away; around
how i managed to lose the sail
incredibly wound down
a hue of a rainbow, there!
i see it, wanna dip apples in caramels
where are you now, oh lover boy?
{i'm so sorry, i whispered into thin air}
please whisk me away into the sunset
into the wild abyss of carousels
