"that's literally our highschool," donghyuck said with a 'duh' tone as they read the letter.

"no shit, we should probably be more worried about what the hell the 'unfound' is." jaemin replied back, ripping the sign off of the post. "lets go."

jaemin continued to lead them through along the street, the only sound being their feet pressing against the pavement and a soft breeze. they walked through the same route they did everyday on their way to school, until they reached it.

"oh fuck." nari cursed as her hands that were clasped against her backpack straps fell to her side.

their usual welcoming highschool had turned into what looked like a danger zone. the gates that normally were wide open, were locked shut with a chain. nari's eyes turned to the others, landing on a red laser pointing to jaemins chest.

"jaemin," she said with wide eyes, her hand grabbing onto the sleeve of his shirt. he looked at her with a frown before looking down at where her eyes were, his own bulking out of his head at what he saw.

nari scanned all through the area, trying to find where it was coming from when she spotted someone peaking through the windows, exactly where the light was coming from. she lifted her hand and waved slightly, giving any sort of friendliness to show that they were harmless. the person hesitated before removing himself from the window and the laser fading away.

"holy shit," jaemin breathed, grasping his chest with his hand as renjun placed a comforting shoulder on his back. from the doors of the school, they could see a small group of people coming out and approaching them. jaemin straightened his back and everyone fell silent as they made their way to the other side of the gate.

"name yourselves," a short-haired girl said, standing big and bold in front of everyone.

"um.. i'm nari, that's jaemin, renjun, jeno, and donghyuck." nari introduced, trying to hide the nerves as they took over the control in her voice.

the girl nodded her head and remained deadpanned, scanning each of the four of them carefully before pulling a key on a necklace from under her shirt. she unlocked the lock that close the gate together, and opened it just enough for a person to get through.

she stood to the side, but the four of them stood still.

"move it, before i change my mind." she said, causing them to make their way in one by one.

the four of them examined their highschool, seeing as it looked like it had been decomposing. covered in vines, rust in every single corner, it was completely different from what they were used to.

as they were lead inside the school, the woman who allowed them in quickly escaped as the other boy introduced himself. "so, welcome to our... community. we still don't really know what to call this. i'm yangyang! do any of you think you're in need of a doctor?"

"no, thanks, but... we're kind of wondering what the actual fuck happened to our school?" donghyuck asked, his eyes roaming the area.

the boy frowned in confusion. "what do you mean your school? this place has been vacant for years."

the groups faces dropped instantly upon hearing such words, that the school they were just at two days ago had been this way for much longer than that. nari twisted her body around with her hand holding her head as she tried to process what she was hearing.

"are you guys okay...?" yangyang asked.

"this is gonna sound weird, but, we were just in this school. two days ago. like, learning, with teachers and all that." jaemin stuttered.

yangyangs face went blank, his eyes widening just a bit with no idea of how to react to that. he nodded. "right, um. follow me."

they lead them through the once familiar halls to a classroom, one that had no desks and chairs but sleeping bags instead. it seemed as if someone turned it into a bedroom.

"you guys can sleep here, there's more than enough sleeping bags. and there's also tons of food in the cafeteria, so, whatever canned goods you brought, you won't need it." he grinned, closing the door behind him and sitting himself on top of the teachers desk that was nailed into the floor. the one that all four of them seen actual teachers sit in.

"so," he began, "i'm lost as shit."

nari set her bag down in top of a random sleeping bag she decided was now hers. "so are we."

"a little while ago, we discovered something. like, we can make wishes. or we could. and dumbo over here accidentally wished us into a different reality. i guess it really worked because we woke up and everyone was gone. and our school..." donghyucks voice drifted off, not entirely sure how to put it into words.

"huh.." yangyang said, his lips turning down onto a slight frown. "i'm not sure how to respond to that, other than thats extremely weird. so... this was actually your school?"

"yeah, also, do you think you could explain to us exactly what's happening?"

yangyang dried off his slightly sweaty hands on his jeans before letting out a huge sigh, as if it was nerve-raking to talk about it. "so, a couple of years ago, a borderline war broke out between the government and the people. they were hiding things from us, crazy things, and the second people began to speak out about it, chaos. just pure chaos."

"people began to rebel, and riot, and the government people weren't having it. overtime, people began to disappear. there's communities all through out the world, but for a while, we haven't seen anyone else. actually, you guys are the first in a few months."

nari inhaled a shaky breath as her legs crossed over each other, her position suddenly becoming uncomfortable.

"i was right, we are screwed," jeno sighed.

"screwed is just a tad bit dramatic," yangyang chuckled dryly, "once you get the hang of it, survival becomes crazy easy. i'm not saying this to scare you, but we have no clue what happens to those who disappear. we just know to never be caught by people of the government. we call each other the unfound."

"but... this isn't our world. we don't belong here, and we need to find a way to get back," jaemin insisted.

"if it isn't too much to ask... maybe you can help us?" nari asked the boy with pleading eyes.

yangyang felt slight guilt rise through out his body, seeing them look so hopeless. he'd always wanted to go out and explore the world, never having the chance due to his community being so unbelievably strict that he only goes outside once a month to get supplies.

"i'll help you."
