"get your hands off of me," nari spat as she attempted to pry her arms away from the strong grips held on her. there was a bandana wrapped around her eyes, limiting any sort of sight of whatever was going around in. safe to say, she was scared for her life.

the grips on her arms were finally loosened as she was practically thrown into a chair, the blindfold roughly being taken off of her. hey eyes adjusted to her surroundings, seeing she was sat in a room with just a table and two men in front of her sitting in seats. no sound could pass her lips as her eyes moved from man to man.

one of them leaned forward, "i know you've got a lot of questions, and allow me to explain myself—"

"i don't want to hear shit, take me back to where i was. i'm not saying a word." nari decided to take the safer route by staying silent about anything she knew. yangyang and shotaro had constantly reminded her to trust no one, and that wasn't about to change.

the man gave a look to the other sitting next to him, before looking back to nari.

"that's okay," he said, "i just need you to tell me one thing. how did you get here?"

the tone in his voice made nari think this wasn't a question he asked just anyone. his upper body was leaned forward, his elbows leaning against the table with urgency. nothing about him seemed comforting and trusting, she couldn't bring herself to say anything. the silence made the man huff and lean backwards.

"she's not speaking. just take her away."

"no. i know she's not from here, but i wanna hear it from her." the other man insisted.

nari kept a deadpanned expression and as hard as it was to hold eye contact, she did to show she wasn't intimidated by any means. she was scared, and alone, not knowing what to do in a situation like this.

"you want to go home, don't you? hm?" he asked, his manner sounding as if he was speaking to a child. "we can make a deal? i'll get you home, if you tell me where the unfound are hiding."

of course nari wanted to go home. more than anything, and more for her friends than herself. however, it was more than obvious that those people were hiding for good reason, and she wasn't going to ruin that for them.

"you will not get home yourself. unless you have our help, i promise you'll be stuck here forever." he said. "who are you protecting? you don't know those people, they don't know you. they're not who you think they are. there's two sides to every story."

"i don't care. it doesn't take a genius to see that whatever goes on around here, is so fucked up, and they're not wrong for wanting no part it in." nari shot back.

"are they really? do they tell the war was really started by them, and not us? do they tell you how the things we were 'hiding' was actually what we wanted to help these people? huh? did they mention that?"

nari was not only taken back from the harshness of his tone, but the fact that the boys she met in her time here had kept some key points from her about what was going on.

"of course they didn't."

nari hesitated before speaking. "i still won't tell you where they're hiding."

the man sitting straight across of her kept his eyes on her for a moment before standing from his seat. his friend next to him grabbed onto his arm, making him stop before he could walk away. he then took two papers out from a tan folder in front of them, examining it himself for a moment before sliding it over to nari.

her eyes gazed over the papers, two familiar faces printed onto it. yangyang and shotaro, they looked younger, and happier, almost as if the pictures were taken a long time ago.

the man could tell from the soften of her eyebrows and the way her shoulders relaxed that she recognized them.

"you know them, don't you? they're not who you think they are."

the sentence made naris heart drop, but she still refused to say anything she knew. eventually they had enough and took her away.

she shouted, kicked, squirmed, but it was completely useless. she was thrown and locked into a small room with nothing but a mattress, and once the door was shut behind her, she banged on it as loud as she possibly could. no one was coming back for her.

"what do you mean she's missing?!" renjuns voice echoed through the house as jaemin ran out the front door, searching the streets for the girl he couldn't seem to find.

"nari!" he called, running into the middle of the street. yangyang and renjun shook the others awake, them still being half asleep and not able to fully process what was going on. although jaemin had just searched the entire house, they found themselves doing it again.

jaemin ran back inside, panicked, notifying his friends the girl was nowhere to be seen, even outside of the house.

"the only explanation i can think of is that she was taken," yangyang said as he entered the living room, "she isn't the time to just run away herself, right?"

"i mean—no? but, we haven't really known her long ourselves. she was just saying how she's grateful to have met us, i don't think she would to that." jaemin stammered, unsure of his own words.

"we need to leave now if we want even the smallest chance of finding her."
