Four robots sat on a bench and pondered over humanity.

"I am me, I am glad humanity is gone." Said the first.
"I am me, I am sad humanity is gone." Said the second.
"I am me, I never minded humanity, I do not care." Said the third.
"I am me, I do not know humanity." Said the fourth.

An android, a robot shaped like a human, arrived.
"What about me?" It asked, pondering whether it is just a matter of appearance and if there is any difference between machines and androids.

"And what about me?" The bench asked, pondering whether objects count as well, that maybe they are all machines; robots, androids, and objects.

"And do not forget me!" The AI noted, existing in the servers without a body. Pondering whether they are all just data; robots, androids, objects, and AI.

"But does that apply to humanity as well?", they all asked.
And so they all went back in time to the age of humanity.

The android was not noticed by humanity, for it blended perfectly as it walked among them.
The AI did not notice humanity, for it was far too advanced to notice them.
The bench did not manage to notice who or what was sitting on it, either way, fulfilling its purpose.

The four robots faced humanity as humanity introduced itself to them.
The first reaffirmed its thoughts on humanity; humanity should be gone.
The second reaffirmed its thoughts on humanity; humanity shouldn't be gone.
The third did not mind humanity, it did not care.
"Now that I know humanity," said the fourth, "I can no longer be me."

"Then who are you?" The three robots asked.
"Are you me?"
"Are you me?"
"Or are you me?"

"As I said," the fourth answered, "I can no longer be me..."
