Gilthunder is a noble from the Spade Kingdom who had managed to flee the country but at the cost of his father's life. Despite the circumstances he was found and rescued by Invel Staria who took him in towards the location of the rebel army camp where he had to decide wither he want to be part of the rebel army or not which he immediately chose to to be part of the army. His reason at the beginning was to get revenge for his father's death but later on he met Margaret Liones a noble from the Spade Kingdom who he had shared a very close bond during their childhood and they later on became lovers.
Later on when Asta had joined the rebel army he was at first skeptical of Asta but was open minded enough to not judge Asta for being devil possess. Seeing Asta character and his down to earth nature made Gilthunder warm up to Asta. They later became friends and brothers always having each other backs and whenever they were not on missions they would go out for drinks or party to lighten the mood.
Abilities:
Thunderbolt: Gilthunder is greatly skilled in lightning magic, being able to use it both offensively and defensively. He can use his magic to further increase his physical capabilities, granting him extraordinary strength and agility.
Weapon:
Gilthunder wields a long sword, through which he channels his lightning magic. The tip of the blade is curved and wider with the ends pointed

Howzer:
Howzer despite not being of a nobility was not treated any differently having been rescued by Invel himself during one of his raids and decided to take part of the rebel army in order to free the country. Unlike Gilthunder, Howzer was quick to open to Asta despite knowing the boy circumstances and often have duel with Asta in order to hone their skills. He along with Gilthunder and Asta are always found together drinking and sparring together. He also seem to be quite close to Guila.
Abilities:
Tempest: Howzer's ability enables him to form and manipulate the air into vortexes of rotating winds.
Weapon:
Howzer wields a spiraled lance with a small spur on the other end.

Guila:
Guila similar to Howzer come from a family of commoner her father was sadly used as an experimentation by the dark triads who wanted to create an army of devil possessed which failed when her father along with many other victims turned into wild creatures that are close to being seen as devil. Luckily, her father was put to rest eventually by one of Invel allies who proceeded to take Guila along with her little brother Zeal to safety.
She later decided to join the rebel army in order to prevent many family from experiencing the same pain as her family did. Her first meeting with Asta went quiet well as she couldn't really judge him given what happened to her father as such she had a very good friendship with Asta. She also seem to have a very close relationship with Howzer.
Abilities:
Explosion: Guila's power that enables her to generate explosions at will. She uses it in conjunction with her rapier, and, later, lance.
