Me, Y/n and Alex are at the park together. Y/n is balancing on some logs. Me and Alex are walking together.

"Y/n cupcake!"

She looks at us.

"Yah?!"

"Me and papa are gunna sit here dont wander off please! Stay in our sight!" I say.

"Okay mama!" Y/n yells back.

Me and Alex sit and talk. When i look up, Y/n's gone....

"Y/n?" I ask.

Alex looks up.

"Where'd she go?" He asks.

"I.....i dont know. She was there. Right there." I say.

We stand up and look around.

"Y/n?" Alex calls.

"Y/n?!" I call out.

Fuck..... fuck this reeeally isn't good. I call Jade and we continue searching.

"Hey Pez." Jade says.

"Is Y/n with you?" I ask.

"No. Why is she not with you?" Jade asks.

"No. She's gone. I dont know where but she's gone." I say.

"Where are you?" Jade asks.

"The park." I say.

"Y/N WHERE ARE YOU?!" Alex bellows.

"Me and Leigh are comin. Stay put and call the police." Jade says.

The call ends. I call 999.

"Hello 999 what's your emergency?"

"I need the police." I say, my voice shaking again.

The police operator picks up the phone.

"Hello what's your emergency?"

"I need help. My daughter. She's gone. We cant find her. Please." I say.

"Where are you?" The operator asks.

"Crosslane park. West entry." I say, looking around.

"I'm sending and officer to you. Stay exactly where you are. We'll help you find your daughter."

The call ends. Jade and LeighAnne turn up. They run over to us.

"Have you seen her anywhere on your way?" Alex asks.

They shake their heads. Two police officers walk over to us.

"Help us please. My daughter. She's gone and we cant find her anywhere." I say.

"Okay. Take a deep breath and explain to us what she looks like. What she was last wearing."

"She's 11..... she has short but curly brown hair.... she was wearing black trousers, a white t-shirt a-and a blue denim jacket. It had writing on the back of it. Said..... Alex what did her jacket say?" I ask.

"Blue monkeys." Alex says, his head in his hands.

"It said blue monkeys. The writing was in red." I say.

The officers write it all down.

"Where was she last seen?"

"By that tree over there." Alex says.

"Yeah she was balancing on the log. Over there." I say.

We follow the officers over.

"We'll get detectives working on the case. Give us a picture, we'll put a mising persons broadcast around the country. Best you guys can do is stay at home and just wait for the detectives to do their thing."

"What? No. No that's my daughter. I have to do something." I say.

"And you did ma'am. You called us. That was the best thing for you to do. We can get detectives on the case. We'll update you at every given chance. We'll find your daughter. You just have to trust us."

"They're right Pez. We just have to wait." Jade says.

I dont like it but they're right. I know they're right. I just have to wait.
