After their heated session in Toni's room as well as her shower, the happy couple was downstairs to visit with Toni's sisters. Toni and Janet came into the living room holding onto each other while giggling. Janet was tickling Toni's ear and neck with her tongue. "Baby, stop it." Toni turned around and stopped in her tracks. "Mommy, I didn't know you were here."

"Well, I had to come see my baby. I haven't seen you for almost a month."

"Sorry, mommy. I've been busy."

"I can tell." Toni's mother looked at Janet/
So what's going on here?" Toni looked between her mother, her sisters, and Janet.

"Well, this is Janet."

"I know that. Nice to meet you, I'm Evelyn." She came up to shake Janet's hand.

"Hello, Ms. Evelyn."

"So you're a 'friend' of my daughter's." Janet laughed.

"Yes." Tamar snickered.

"Nice word for it. Friends."

"Shut up, Tamar." said Toni.

"So, Toni. What's going on with you and Janet?" asked Evelyn.

"Ummm, we're hanging out."

"Naked?"

"Huh?"

"Do you and Janet hang out naked?"

"Why would we do that?"

"Because that's what people in relationships do." Toni sighed and looked down.

"Okay, mom. Yes, Janet and I are in a relationship."

"For how long?"

"About a month."

"Hmmm, why didn't you tell me?"

"I was waiting for the right time. I was a little worried."

"Why?"

"Because we grew up in the church and I know that you don't agree."

"Sweetie just because I don't agree doesn't mean I can't support you guys. The girls did tell me about you and Janet being friends. They said that the boys love her and that she loves them."

"Really? You knew about our relationship?"

"Not really. I knew about you guys being friends. I just figured out today that you guys were together."

"How?"

"Well one, you and Janet were up in your room for almost an hour after kicking the girls out and two, you guys just walked in here with her kissing on your neck."

"Oh, yeah." Janet laughed. Toni hit her shoulder.

"What? She's right."

"But that doesn't mean you laugh."

"Sorry."

"Wapeesh." Tamar made a whip sound and Toni's sisters laughed.

"Shut up," said Toni. "Mommy, I'm sorry I didn't tell you."

"It's okay sweetie. I love you." Evelyn hugged Toni. "Don't be afraid to tell me things."

"I love you too." Evelyn turned to Janet and went to hug her.

"Treat my daughter well."

"Always."

"Now come on tell me how this happened." Everyone sat down on the couch while Toni snuggled up to Janet. "How did you guys meet?"
