..After hours of trekking to the dense, bushy forest, the huge army of plants and zombies came back into Zomburbia unscathed. They handed over Noise to Zomboss himself , waiting at the main entrance.
Meanwhile, Lantern and Nick went into the raft and modified it. Minutes passed, and they both hopped on, setting sail on the ocean without any disputes, but at the cost of a friend. Moments later, silence comes into a halt with a bitter Lantern.
"WHY? YOU COULD'VE DONE SOMETHING BUT YOU CAN'T!" Lantern shouts in an ear-piercing tone.
"I-I really can't! B-both of us would've been dead if we TRY TO MEDDLE!" Nick argues, stumbling over his words.
"Aaah... just why.?" Lantern repeats as she throw her hands up in the air and tears up. She turns away and slowly sit.
"Look, we need to look for shelter and look for help. We agreed to that. He'll be happy we continued for the least!" Nick adds as he glanced over Lantern.
"W-what if he becomes a slave? That guy wants him so he can prove his tyranny's everlasting control over the world!" Lantern contends.
"W-w-what are you talking about?" Nick asks as he trips on his speech in confusion.
"Over the years, everyone has been fooled they'll acquire peace if they exterminate people like us, when the truth is it's all just baloney and he only does this to extend his power!" Lantern insists.
"Uh, how do you know all of this?" Nick begins to question her again.
"I KNOW about Noise breaking out and destroying everything. All of the stigma he's imposed on people had already happened before THIS even occurred. Everyone is so gullible these days and they will PAY FOR IT. I will never, EVER forgive them." Lantern expresses.
"Um, w-why?" Nick raises while he stammer.
"THEY DESTROYED MY HOME! They mercilessly broke through the walls, bombed all my friends and left only one of them. It still hurts." Lantern mutters as she silently weeps and hugged her doll. Nick never spoke afterwards and focused on maneuvering the raft.
Meanwhile at Neighbourville.
Crazy Dave went out of his house and goes to Zomburbia to unite with all of them. But he's suddenly met with an 11-years-old boy, whom Dave recognized instantly, was Nate Timely. They both hugged for a brief moment and initiated a conversation.
"Hey, Crazy Dave... erm, I mean Uncle Dave! Excuse me on that one, we've been on a vacation trip for a long time and I've forgotten to use honorifics." Nate utters as his face flushes in embarrassment.
"Oh, that's nothing. Ahh... Nate Timely, my niece's friend. You've quite grown up, I would say." Dave voices as he pat Nate's shoulder.
"Oh wow, you can now speak properly. When did you learn that?" Nate asks as he noticed Crazy Dave's language.
"Oh, um, Patrice taught me to. I'm trying to get the hang of my voice though." Dave replies.
"Oh, yeah, I see. Your weird habit of groaning is still noticeable." Nate claims.
"By the way, I'm up for ANOOOTHER zombie-smashing adventure! Where's Patrice?" Nate proceeds to question Dave again.
"Uh, I don't know. Hmm, alright. Yeah. She's recently in a vacation with Penny like you do. Y'know, I don't want her to stick with me every time, and I want her to see how big the world really is. And she's accompanied with a lot of my plants to keep her safe on the road." Dave responds.
