Chapter 3

                                                                        Dash's POV

        Dating!? Why woud Sabine say that? I quickly looked at her. I couldn't sense anything coming from Sapphire. What is she thinking? After lunch we walked back to our room. Sabine slept on the bottom of my bunk. In the middle of the night we crawled out of bed and walked down the hall to Agent Callus's office. I knocked on the door to make sure no one was in there. There was no reply. I disabled the lock and walked into the office with Sabine following behind. She shut the door behind us just in case someone came by and saw us. As I was getting the decoder the door open. Sabine and I froze in place our backs towards the door. Sabine immediatly pulled out her blaster she had been keeping in her boot. It was dark but I could make out a figure. They looked oddly familiar. "Put you weapon down." The figure said. I didnt recognize the voice. Sabine just stood there with the blaster pointing at them. "Put your weapon down!" This time the figure said it sternly. I lowered Sabine's arm and took her blaster and set it on the ground. There was a glow coming from the computer and words appeared on the screen. The decoder was ready. The figure stepped into the light. "Sapphire?" I said, I was confused I thought she was sleeping. "You two are going to blow my cover!" She said in a loud whisper. "What cover?" Sabine asked. "Let's talk somewhere else." Sapphire said. "You two can I on the other hand am exausted." Sabine said and walked out of the room quickly. Sapphire's hand was reaching for Ezra's to show him the way but she pulled it back. When she did Ezra grabbed her hand nodding. "Show me the way." I said. She dragged me down the hall and into a supply closet.

        "So why are you here?" I asked her. "I'm here to get intell and cause trouble for the Empire. Why are you?" She asked. "I'm here to get a decoder for my friends." I then realized we were still holding hands and she seemed to notice to because she quickly pulled her hand away. "Sorry." She said. "For what?" I asked. "For holding your hand I know you and Sabine are dating and I don't want to ruin things for you two." She lowered her head. "Oh yeah, see the thing is.... Sabine and I we arnt exactly dating." I said scratching the back of my neck. "What do you mean by exactly." "We arn't dating." I sensed she felt hurt and angry. "You lied to me!" She said almost shouting. "I was gonna say no but Sabine said yes." "Why?" "So we could spend time together alone without anyone being suspicious." Her anger and hurt faded away she was normal again. "Let's go get some sleep." She said as she grabbed my hand. What if she doesn't like the way I actually look? No Ezra don't think about that. Jedi can't form attachments, then again the order was destroyed. Wouldn't that mean the rules dont apply anymore? She lead us back to our room. I forgot one detail in the supply closet, I didn't tell her my name. I hope she wont be mad.

                                                                        Third Person POV

        The cadets awoke and got ready for their trial. Ezra had made another friend over the last few days Zare. Today they were to get to the top of the hole they were in.

                                                                               Sapphire's POV

        I had to complete this trial I needed more intell. Dash and I havn't been talking much he has been spending all his time with Zare and Sabine. Dash Sabine and I always won the trials. This time I'm determind to come in first, Dash always beat me but not this time. I heard him whisper something to Zare and Sabine all I could make out was "remember" The platforms floated out of the wall and I was ahead of Dash. I'm gonna win this time. "Dash I can't make it." I heard Zare yell. I kept jumping and before I knew it Dash and I were on the same platform. I was one platform away from the top. I was gonna jump when I heard Dash say "Sorry." I felt a pair of hand push against my side and I fell all the way to the bottom which was a long drop. I heard something crack and saw Dash was looking at me then jumped to the top. I felt the floor beneath me rise and everything went black. My eyes fluttered open, my head was pounding and my wrist was aching plus my back felt like it got stepped on with a walker. I tried to sit up but cried out in pain. Someone rushed into the room. Dash. I looked and him but quickly turned away no matter how much it hurt. "Sapphire-" "Leave me alone! I dont want to see your face ever again!" Tears were now streamin down my face as I looked at him. I was hurting on the inside and out. It felt like someone grabbed my heart and ripped it out of my chest. And to think I thought I loved him, apparently it's not love. I wanted to curl up and die. I knew I couldnt though. The nurse rushed in Dash still standing in the doorway. "Is everything alright?" She asked. Dash started to nod but I cut him off. "NO I WANT HIM OUT OF HERE!" I never wanted to see him again but at the same time I did. No matter how much I hated him right now my feelings couldn't and wouldn't fade away.

        A/N: Sorry about the short chapter but I will be publishing another today. Hope you enjoyed. I know in the first chapter I said he was going undercover again but I needed to add Zare so there could be a conflict, every story needs a conflict and resolution so I'm sorry.
