Chapter 12

        We arrived on Alderaan in the Phantom and I was so excited. We were staying in a small cabin in an open field near the forest. "It's beautiful." I said. It literally took my breath away. Ezra was messing with something in his pocket. "What's in your pocket?" I asked. "Nothing." He replied quickly. Too quickly. I decided to drop it. We walked into the cabin and it only had one room. That was fine with me. It was getting dark so I decided to get ready for bed. "I'm going to go get ready for bed. Thanks for the trip." I said and pecked his cheek. I walked off to the bathroom and got dressed into a tanktop and shorts. Then I brushed my teeth and walked out of the bathroom. Ezra didnt change but he went off to brush his teeth. I walked out to the porch and looked out into the forest. I felt Ezra's arms wrap around me and I smiled. I turned around and he kissed me. It was a passionate kiss. "Well I'm going to bed." I said walking down the hall. "You coming?" I asked. "I was just going to sleep on the couch." He said walking towards the couch. "Please I'll freeze without you." I begged him. He gave in and grabbed my hand. I climbed into bed and he layed down next to me. I pulled the covers over us. Ezra didnt seem to need them but he still kept them on. I felt his arms wrap around me and he rested his head on my shoulder. I snuggled into his chest and let sleep flood over me like a river. When I woke up Ezra wasn't in bed anymore. I looked over to where he was when I fell asleep and there wasnt even a dent like no one was ever there. I climbed out of bed and walked to the kitchen. I saw Ezra sleeping on the couch. "Ezra." I said. He woke up rubbing his eyes. "I thought you were going to keep me warm." I said. "You seemed warm to me." He said. "Why did you leave?" I asked. "I didnt want to rush things." "Ezra we've been dating for 2 years." "Your right. I have something to give you."

        He stood up and took a box out of his pocket. He opened it and inside was a galaxy heart locket.

I froze. It was beautiful. "I got this for you because you mean the whole universe to me." He said. I smiled and he helped me put the locket on. I grabbed a photo I drew out of my pocket and placed it in the locket. It was of Ezra and I. I jumped up into his arms and he caught me. I wrapped my arms around his neck snuggling into his chest. "Thank you." I said with a huge smile on my face. "Well I'm starving." I said walking to the cupboards. I grabbed two yogans and tossed one to Ezra. We ate our breakfast wondering how the crew was. We never told them we were leaving. My com went off. "This is all spectors to spectors 6 and 7." I heard Hera's voice say. "This is spector 6 and 7. What do you need?" I said. "Where are you guys?" "On a little vacation." I said. "Why did you take the Phantom." Kanan asked. "We needed a small ship." Ezra said. "you guys are in so much trouble when you get back." Kanan said. "Well we wont be back for a few more days." I said and turned off my com.

        Later that night I was out on the porch again and Ezra came up and said, "I love you Sapphire." I turned around and he pressed his lips against mine. "I love you too." I said. He started kissing my neck. We were slowly moving to the bedroom. His hand was going up the back of my shirt. In one swift motion he pulled it off.

(A/N: Okay lets not go into all the details here.)

        I woke up with Ezra's arms around me. I had no clothes on. I turned to Ezra who was watching me sleep. He tucked a strand off hair behind my ear and kissed my cheek. He got dressed and brushed his teeth. I did the same. Around noon I started to feel naseous. I quickly ran to the bathroom. Why am I puking? I didnt eat anything bad, did I? Fear suddenly rushed through me remembering what happened last night. I looked above the sink in the cabinet and found a pregnancy test. I waited. I was extremly terrified. It came out as positive. I fell back against the wall crying. Ezra rushed in. "Are you okay?" He asked. I shook my head and showed him the test. He didnt know what it was. Of course he didnt he didnt have a mother or a sister. "Ezra.... I'm pregnant." I said. "That's so exciting. This will be the best thing that has ever happened to us." He said enthusiastically there was no doubt in his voice. I stood up and hugged him. "I was worried you were going to freak out." I said. "Oh trust me I'm having a heart attack right now, but think of how it will turn out." He said. "You're right." I said with a nod. "We have to hide this from the others." I said. "I agree." Tomorrow we were leaving Alderaan. I was going to miss this place. We spent the rest of the day cuddling on the couch thinking of names. "How about Joe?" Ezra said. "Come on be serious." "Okay, okay... How about Xander?" "I like it. What about Ela for a girl?" I asked. "I love it." "It means beautiful fairy woman." "Really? Xander means protecter of men." Ezra said. I smiled. "Well I'm gonna go pack. Then go to bed." I said. Ezra followed me down the hall and helped me pack. Then we went to bed.

        We returned to Lothal and Ezra was now very protective of me sense he found out I was pregnant. "Who's idea was it?" Kanan asked. "Mine." I said stepping forward. "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!? YOU COULD'VE GOTTEN BOTH OF YOU KILLED!" Kanan was shouting at me. Ezra jumped in front of me. "Leave her alone!" He said anger running through him. I put a hand on his shoulder and at my touch he calmed right down. Hera walked out. "We have an op. We need to go stop an imperial shipment." She said. "Okay I'll get ready." I said. "No your staying here." Ezra said. "Why?" I asked. "I cant have you getting hurt." I was gonna ask him if it was about the baby but Kanan was right there. "Getting hurt is a part of life if you want you can be at my side at all times." I went and got ready for the op.

        I was helping fighting off stormtroopers and got shot. I fell to the ground. No one noticed. Ezra was with Sabine helping to get the crates. I wasn't bleeding but the shot burned my arm and it stung. All the stormtroopers were stunned and I still was on the ground. "Sapphire!?" It was Ezra he was calling for me. I stood up slowly my arm hurt so much. Everyone gathered around me. "What happened?" Ezra asked. "I got shot." I said. "Where? Was it your stomach? Are you bleeding?" He asked. "My arm, and no I'm not bleeding just got burned." I said pointing to the hole in my sleeve. He picked me up and carried me. "You know I have legs right?" I asked joking. He nodded but continued to carry me. "Well I'm starving." I said. I walked to the kitchen and we all sat at the table and ate our dinner. I ate a lot. Even more than Zeb.
