Chapter 18

                                                                        Ezra's POV

        I watched as they carried her to the med bay. "Get away from me!" Sapphire yelled. She must really hate me. "I found this letter." Sabine said. "I also found these on it." She handed me her wedding ring and locket. I opened the locket and saw a picture of us. Tears stung my eyes. I ran up ahead. Watching her. "Xander? Can I hold mommy's hand." He nodded and I took her hand. Her eye lids opened a small amount then her hand went limp and her eyes shut. "She's dead." I said. "She's not dead I didnt feel her presense leave." Kanan said. "Run faster!" I said. We all ran faster. They placed her on a bed I never left her side. They bandaged her up and I just sat there. "Is mommy gonna be okay?" Ela asked. I wanted to say yes but instead I said "I dont know." Ela broke down into tears. I picked her up and held her on my lap. "Mommy's gonna be okay." I said with a smile. Ela nodded and left the room.

                                                                Sapphire's POV

        Where am I? "Hello Sapphire." "Who are you?" I asked. "My have you grown." A young women about my age walked out of the darkness. "Mom?" She nodded. I ran to hug her but I woke up. I slowly opened my eyes and looked around the room. In the corner was Ezra he was crying. I was in the med bay. Why didnt they let me die? Their lives would be so much easier. Ezra had his face in his hands. I reached over and touched his shoulder. He looked up and hugged me. "I'm glad your not dead." I felt his loving arms and remembered why I loved him in the first place. He was kind and gentle. "Me too." I said with a smile. Han, Leia, and Luke rushed into the room. "We really need to stop meeting like this." I said with a smile. They all smiled and wrapped me in a hug. "Be careful of the wrists." I said jokingly but they all backed up as if I had meant it. I got up from the bed and walked to my room. I needed to get changed my clothes were covered in blood. It was not a pretty sight. Hera had mopped up the floor. I looked everywhere for my ring and locket but couldnt find them. Where are they?

        Ezra walked into the room and grabbed my hand placing something on my palm. "You had them?" I asked he nodded. I pushed him gently just to mess with him. "I was looking everywhere for them." I said. "Then dont take them off." He said. "I wont." I said and kissed his cheek. I walked to the kitchen to get some water where everyone else was looking worried. Maybe they dont know that I'm up yet. I grabbed a glass and got some water. They still didnt look up. "I thought you guys would be more excited." I said with a smile. They looked up and hugged me. "It's nice to see you to." I said laughing at their reaction. "Dont you ever do that again! You had us worried sick!" Hera said in a motherly tone. I nodded and she hugged me again. That night Ezra stayed in bed and I didnt have any nightmares.
