Praise for the World-building of Avadel
The world building in this story was absolutely phenomenal and magical. The author did a fantastic job of setting up the world, the conflicts, and the main characters in the first few chapters. They did well with providing just the right amount of dialogue, description, and exposition in a way that wasn't underwhelming or overwhelming to the reader. Additionally, the magic system is quite unique and the author has gone as far as establishing magical texts and concepts that are easy to understand and unique to their world.
Although there are some terms introduced to the reader for the first time, they are easy to comprehend and the explanations are brief enough that it doesn't distract the reader. The author has also done an excellent job of setting the tone through their world building, by ensuring every description is purposeful and figuratively appealing. It isn't difficult for the reader to imagine being in the characters' shoes because of how vivid the author has painted the picture. The reader may find themselves on a wondrous journey, wishing they were living in this world after reading. ~ wera_nyooms
