Lucy woke up groaning from stiff joints and muscles. She opened her eyes trying to blink away the bleariness that clouded them. She slowly took in her surroundings only to see that she was in a room that was strangely lavished and was not what you would think of as a place to keep a prisoner.
'This is a strange dungeon for them to keep a prisoner...' was all that came to her mind. She slowly got up off the floor she was laying on, letting out a sigh in relief as she popped her back,
'WAIT...DUNGEON...PRISONER!?!?!' Her eyes widened in shock then panic when she noticed her keys were missing, quickly looking around she seen them across the room..."BY A OPENED WINDOW!!!....*sigh*...man these guys don't know how to keep a prisoner."
Lucy let out an annoyed sigh as she briskly walked to her celestial keys and quickly picked them up, feeling the cool metal and intricate designs on them before opening the gate of one her most spirits.
In a flash Loke appeared before her.
"Yes princess." Loke spoke as he looked around, his face turned into one of confusion as he took in their surroundings. "Uhh....Lucy where are we exactly??" Loke asked looking back at her. Lucy let out yet another sigh,(A/N: Wow she has been doing a lot of that in this chapter...oh sorry I never really talk in my story.......... ((o))).... -.-"), as she put her head in her hands as a headache started to come on to her. "I was kidnapped by some strange guy who attacked our guild and had a bunch of wolves at his command and took Okami down like nothing and said that they needed me for their plan which seems to yell out trouble and now I am here in this...place... and I have no clue where... Hey Loke go find the guild and come back before we are to late. I recall snips and peices of their conversation when I was unconscious. They said something about summoning something and they required a celestial mage...so go get the guild and hurry." Lucy told the lion as she pushed him out the window. As he fell his screams were heard. "I LOVE YOU LUCY!!!!!!!" A sweatdrop appeared on Lucy's head as she quickly closed the window. "Now time to somehow escape this creepy place." She muttered as she walked toward the double doors in front of the room.
~Back at the Guild~
Natsu was leaning against the wall across the door that held his companion, Okami was placed in there and the only ones in there were Wendy, Porlusica, Master Makarov, Mira, Gildarts, and surprisingly Gray.
It had been about 1 day, 5 hours, 56 minutes, and 8 seconds since he woke up and heard about the she-wolf From what he had heard from his guildmates was that Okami was placed in there and that the others in there were trying to get rid of the spell that ... man had placed on her and had rendered her unconscious.
Natsu clenched his fist hard enough to draw blood as dark thoughts he never knew lingered in his mind assaulted him with insults and ushering him to do unspeakable things. He then slide down the wall and curled up gripping his head as he tried to block the voices in his head, soon he was close to caving in when suddenly a cry of pain came from the room directly in front of him that was quickly followed by a snarl. He quickly got up and ran toward the door before he kicked it open and looked at the scene in front of him.
Okami was awake but was snarling and snapping at the others when they moved. As she was doing this, Natsu strangely felt relief flood through him as he took in news that was never spoken, that is until Okami noticed his presence and wagged her tail and jumped toward him and stood in front of him wagging her tail and looked at him, happiness display all over her face...that is until he noticed that his vision was wavering which greatly confused him.
His world turned black then after what seemed to be forever in his opinion a light shimmered at the end of what seemed to be a tunnel. He proceeded to walk towards it and started to hear voices and noticed he was laying on something soft and that someone was over him and was warm. He then slowly woke up to see the faces of the people who were in the room with Okami. He got up looking at them confused as to how he had got there when he was outside of the door that held the wolf,
"How is she?" was the first thing he said. They all looked away before Master Makarov spoke.
"Natsu, my boy that wolf has been hit with a dark forbiden spell... I'm afraid that she might never wake up from this. I'm sorry." He then turned away from Natsu and walked out of the infirmary.
Gray's P.O.V.
'Damn it pyro...' was the only thing that came to Gray's mind as he looked at Natsu when the Master told him the news of the she-wolf. He then felt Mira slowly pull him out of the room to leave him to his thoughts.
Natsu's P.O.V.
'Okami...might not wake up. No. She has to wake up...she made her promise.' Natsu then got up and walked to the door, peaking out he seen no one was in the hallway but heard a guild brawl was going on in the guildhall. Slowly, he crept out of the infirmary and walked to the room that held his wolf companion and opened the door.
Once inside he walked to the sleeping form of the wolf and moved a chair near the bed before he sat on it. He layed his head on the bed and looked at the wolf until he fell asleep.
Mira's P.O.V.
Mira walked up the stairs to the infirmary ward where Natsu and the wolf were staying. As she carried some Beef Stew with bread ,and a mug of fire for Natsu so that he can recover faster and be normal again...hopefully. She stopped outside of the she-wolf's room door having a feeling that the Fire Dragon Slayer would be in there. She opened the door not at all suprised to see the two of them in the same room.
She walked over to the two of them and place the tray on the bedside table and woke up Natsu. At first he looked at her then Okami then realization of her standing there hit him and he quickly started spluttering excuses but could'nt find one. Giggling at his failure of finding an excuse, Mira then pointed at the tray of food she had prepared for him. He looked at the tray then quickly scarfed down the food and the fire before going back to watching the she-wolf.
Mira looked at him with sadness in her eyes before speaking, "You know Natsu, she might not like it if you don't try to take care of yourself and try to at least be happy while she is like this...I mean why don't you go on a quick easy job with the team again."
Natsu turned toward her before looking at her with mixed emotions written in his eyes,
"Mira...they kicked me out of the team because of me... being to destructive and ruining their goals and stuff like that,..." He then looked at Okami, ",even Happy agreed to kick me out of the team...that is why I've been with Okami the whole time and now that she is here, on this bed suffering and...and I can't do anything to help her..." Mira looked at him in shock as he then started to cry. She then turned around a dark aura surrounding her, "I'm gonna get you Scarlet." Natsu grabbed her wrist. "Don't bother, they are looking for Lucy anyway...I might as well leave them alone." He then turned toward Okami. "But Lucy is still missing because those guys have her...somewhere."
Natsu then grabbed his scarf looking at it, then an idea came to him. Grabbing his scarf, he then wrapped it around Okami's neck like a collar, then sat there looking at her hoping that his idea would work.
Not long afterwards the scarf Igneel had given him started to glow, Okami started to whimper as the dark magic started to emminate off of her in thick waves, Mira looked at them with eyes wide with suprise and worry seeing the dark magic slowly become absorbed into the scarf that Natsu put around the wolf's neck.
Suddenly a dark fog like aura came out of the wolf before becoming absorbed into the now black scarf. The door to the room was busted open as the guild members all piled up at the door...
