Wolf Curse

Chapter 14

~Fangs Peak ~

Lucy was still pacing around her room, waiting for her capturer to do something. She tried opening the double doors but they were locked from the outside. She was worried about what was going to happen to her and what they were planning.

Just then the door opened and in came Cyrus with some wolves beside him. A smirk painted on his face, a shiver went up her spine and fear struck her as the wolves circled around her. "So I see you sent help?" Cyrus sneered as he stood by the door looking at her. Lucy gulped then glared at him. "They will come to save me! And your plan with me will not go through!"  Lucy gave a smirk of her own only for confusion to take it's place as Cyrus started to laugh, "What's so funny you creep!" She yelled.

Cyrus kept laughing at her, then stopped as he wiped away fake tears. "Do you honestly think you are that special? That you were important to us? We just needed you to bring in our lost soldier. And then we could complete our plan. You are just the one who will help us meet the end of that plan." Lucy looked at him in shock then in anger. "Do you honestly think that we would be defeated that easily?!?! We will not let you take our family member easily! We are Fairy Tail and we won't ever give up!! We will defeat you fools and you won't ever harm our nakama!" Cyrus looked at her bored, "Do you know who I am talking about? Last I know of, she never bore the mark of the fairy."  Lucy gaped in shock, then surprise as realisation dawned on her. "Okami..." Cyrus smirked as he watched her realise who one of his targets is. "Ah yes...Okami is the lost soldier, she needs to return to us, her true family, you fairies don't know what she needs or what she deserves. She never showed you guys her human form! Haha!! Some trust there! Right?"

Lucy fell to her knees, shock overtaking her, the sounds of the growls of the wolves not reaching her ears. Cyrus laughed as he walked towards Lucy.

~Fairy Tail~

The guild was quiet as somber looks were on their face as they looked at Team Natsu and the dragon slayer himself glare at each other. "Natsu!! She knows the way and is our only source of help around here! We need her!!" Erza, on instinct, requiped her sword, raising it at Natsu who glared back. "You will listen to what the Master has said to us and that is final! Don't make us take her from you!" Okami who stood at the side silently growling, snarled when she seen the blade was aimed at Natsu. She moved in front of him and stared at Erza, her fangs closed on empty air as she snapped and snarled at her. "I don't appreciate you aiming that flimsy piece of metal at Natsu. And if you dare do anything to cause him pain in any way,  I will make sure you regret it." The guild became quiet at the threat and held their breathes as the watched the aura around the two in front of them glare at each other.

"Alright enough! Aren't we suppose to save the blonde now!!" An irritated Gajeel yelled beside an embarrassed Levi. The two broke their glaring contest. Team Natsu then went up to the Matser's office. Okami scoffed as she looked away. Only for her to meet the angry eyes of Natsu. "I don't want you to do this Okami. It's to dangerous and what will we do if Cyrus is there. We aren't to sure if this is all a trap." Okami rolled her eyes and looked at him and snapped back. "I am not going to allow him to do to her what he did to me! Because what I went through is dangerous, I nearly died, and the others who were put through it never made it. They all died and I am the only one who survived and let me tell you...if we don't hurry he might get mad and do that to her. We must hurry before the full moon sets." Natsu gaped at her then grumbled as he reluctantly agreed, the guild was quiet as the processed her word before Team Natsu came running from Makarov's office. "Natsu! Okami! Come on! We are heading out now!" Natsu nodded and ran after them, Okami at his side, they ran after them. "Aren't the others coming with us?" Natsu questioned as he and the others were running. "Yes but they are going to come after they prepare some things. They will be there not long after us. We are going to show these guys that they should never mess with Fairy Tail." Okami shook her head in disappointment and kept quiet. The team ran all the way to the train station, and took awhile to board it since Natsu didn't want to get on until Okami gave him 'that' look.

~Fangs Peak~

Cyrus sat on his throne as he smiled at the wolves that were beating on the Celestial mage in front of him, he liked the screams she made, they were quite entertaining. He looked up as a shadow moved beside him, within the darkness of the shadows, a white wolf came out. "Sire, Okami and the humans are on their way as we speak." Cyrus then started to chuckle, (a/n: Eeww you creep...), the wolves stopped what they were doing and looked up to the laughing man. "Alright mutts, let's welcome back our lost sister." The wolves flinched but did nothing and awaited for their next command.

~Team Natsu~

Erza watched on as Natsu and Okami were arguing, they had made camp just West of Hargeon, they had taken the train and walked from there. The city lights were just tiny flecks in the background from where they were camped at. Natsu was still upset about Okami coming along, stating that she should've just drawn out a route or described where they should go, but the she-wolf was stubborn and snapped back about staying behind and how he would be unprotected and that she wasn't weak. Erza was on edge and conflicted. She wanted to help Okami win this argument and yet she wanted to defend Natsu. She shook her head and sat with the others who were by a fire Natsu had created for them. In a few days time they would reach their destination and save their Nakama.

Unknown to them all, a figure was watching them, the man stood and started to leave. His Master wanted them all to make sure they got to the hideout without anything hindering them. They had to make sure the path was clear so that the humans and their lost sister would make it there before the full moon.
