Wolf Curse

Chapter 10

Erza was about to slash the whistle in half when suddenly the black dust wrapped around her wrist then started to spread on up her arm and stopped at her shoulder. She cried out in pain as the dust started to crush her arm breaking the bones and making her bleed. Gray's cries of agony followed after her as the dust crushed his abdomen. Soon other members had awaken screaming in pain as they too had parts of their body crushed.

Okami lifted her head in agonizing slowness, she bite back a whimper as she looked on at the others who were in pain. She heard Natsu growl in anger only for it to be cut short by a yelp when the silver eyed man glared at him.

He then walked toward the fallen trio.  He kneeled down and whispered into her ear. "Well how do feel about these screams Okami? Do you enjoy them? Well the cause of all their pain and suffering is rooted from you. Don't you see what your presence is doing to them? If you wish for it to stop then let the curse run its course."

Okami mustered up as much strength as she could as she released the most menacing snarl she could at that moment only to for more pain to run through her body. Natsu snarled in anger as he stood up despite the pain, Gajeel had passed out since the dust had crushed his leg which doubled the pain, and lunged at the silver eyed man, he tackled him down and punched him in the face, he only got in a few hits before Cyrus kicked him off and lifted him up by his neck, a smirk on his face as a strange look crossed his eye that sent a cold shiver down his spine.

"Master shall we take this one or the other one?" Cyrus questioned. The "Master" shook his head. "Take the intended target, our plans won't work unless we have her." With that Cyrus let out a disapproving grunt but reluctantly let Natsu fall to the ground.

Then faster than she anticipated Cyrus chopped the back of her neck, then slung her over his shoulder. "Lucy!!" Natsu yelled but the man looked at him with a smug grin on his face. Natsu looked at him giving him a glare that he could muster at the moment. "Why did you take Lucy?!" Okami demanded but yelped when more pain electrocuted down her spine.

"We needed the celestial mage for our plans." He replied as he knew that his plan would work. "Wh-why do yo-you ne-ed her?" Natsu asked through his teeth as anger coursed through him, "What do you plan to do with her you bastard!" He yelled as he lunged at him only to be pinned down by two wolves that snarled in his face, Okami tried to lunge at them but stopped when the silver eyed man stared at her and once again casted the same spell on her.

Natsu looked at Okami with eyes filled with shock at how she was taken down so easily over and over again by this man. The guy looked at Natsu before answering his questions. "We need her power to open a certain gate and we will use her as a sacrifice. In 3 weeks when the moon is at its peak, that is when the ceremony begins. Then all my dreams will become a reality." Natsu looked at him eyes wider in shock but quickly turned to Okami who let out a pained whimper. "It seems that she is still resisting me... what a shame." The white headed man shook his head in a pitiful way before walking away as the wolves all followed him with Cyrus who was still had Lucy over his shoulder. Natsu tried to stand up but the silver eyed man looked at him. He casted the same spell he put on Okami on the dragon slayer.

Natsu felt immense pain shoot in his head, it felt like there was a glass barrier in his head while someone was hitting it with a hammer till it broke. 'What's going on' he asked himself but all thoughts were gone when the pain shot through his head tenfold and was seemingly splitting his head in two. He started to scream as the pain intensified and slowly became unbearable that he slowly started to lose consciousness. But then something wet and hard poked his forehead. The pain had suddenly vanished but what replaced the pain was screams of his nakama then a pained whine that slowly intensified into an animalistic howl of pain came from beside him. He wrenched his eyes open slowly, he blinked away the bleariness trying to focus on his surroundings. When the fog left, his mind reeled in what had happened. Quickly looking at Okami who was thrashing on the ground and had dark magic leaking from her.

He quickly got up and limped toward her only to fall on his face near her, he felt a pair of arms wrap around his and slowly drag him away from her.

"OKAMI!!!!" Natsu yelled trying to break out of his guildmates hold and help the she-wolf, whom Wendy, Master Makarov, and a few others that were trying to help get the dark magic out of her body.

Then Erza walked toward him with a apologetic look on her face, she then punched him in the gut causing his world to go black.
