They flopped face first down onto the couch and sighed loudly. Nick looked up from where he was standing at the kitchen table.

'Tough day, dear?'

Only a groan came from the couch. Nick took that as a noise of assent and wandered over to them with a plate of food.

'Will food help?'

They rolled over and took the plate, only to scrunch up their face in disgust. Nick wrinkled his eyebrows in concern.

'What is it?'

'You put tomatoes in it. I don't like those.'

'Okay. Good to know. I'll rectify that in the future. Anything else I should know?'

'I don't think so.'

'Neat.'

He walked back over to the kitchen and pulled out two more slices of bread from the drawer.

'Can you toast it, please Nick?'

'Yes. Yes I can (Y/N). Anything for you.'
