(Y/N POV)

Beep, beep, beep. My annoying alarm goes off at 7:00am sharp, as it does every morning. Half asleep still, I hit the button to turn it off. I groan, not wanting to get out of bed. My mother walks into my room. "Good morning, Bug!" The same greeting every morning. "Good morning, Mother," I say, smiling lightly.

"Surely you know what day it is?" She asks me. I look at her confused. "Should I?"

"It's September 1st! You need to get to the train station, Hogwarts Express leaves at 11:00am," she says smiling.

My eyes widened. It's a two-and-a-half-hour drive from my house to the train station. I quickly get out of bed, throw on some clothes, and start packing all my school supplies in suitcases. My dad comes upstairs and hands me my train ticket. I put it in my coat pocket. My parents and I go downstairs, load everything into the car, and head for the train station.

(Draco POV)

Our house elf, Dobby, comes into my room. "D-Dobby is here to wake up Draco for s-school, sir," he says. I swear my father couldn't have found a more annoying house elf. I dreadingly drag myself out of bed and start getting ready as slowly as possible. Ever since that day in Diagon Alley, that girl I met... I haven't been able to get her out of my head. Why her? She was so rude. She dare call me "stuck-up"? Ugh. My father comes into my room next. "Draco," he says sternly. "Did the elf not get the message through to you?" He asks while kicking Dobby across the room.

I sigh. "He did, Father," I say. "I'm just tired so I'm not moving very quickly." He smacks me on the back of the head and I flinch. "Well hurry up," he says aggressively. "We don't want to be late." I nod. "Yes, Father.." I pack my bags and my mother helps me carry everything downstairs. "You'll do great," she says to me reassuringly with a seemingly forced smile. I nod and follow my father out to the car, and we drive to the train station.
