"Y-you!" I pointed at him in surprise. "What are you- how-"

"I've brought you some fresh clothes." He ignored me.

"Do you two know each other?" Ella asked.

"No, I- Please excuse us for a minute," I told the two of them. "Sir Korris would you please escort my sister outside."

"But-" Ella protested.

"I'll treat you some milkbread later." I winked at her as the two of them headed out. Korris shot me a worried look and examined Elios cautiously before leaving.

When the door closed shut, I turn to Elios. "What the hell? Why are you here? And what's with your appearance."

"Since nothings happening your way, I figured why not do the job myself." He told me. "I told you I have a plan didn't I?"

"You could've told me in advance!" I hissed.

"Now where's the fun in that?" He smiled. "Seeing how much of a klutz you are, I didn't want to risk the mission in your hands."

"Are you saying you don't trust me?" I asked taking the fresh uniform he brought me.

"That's exactly what I'm saying." He said. "Have I not made it clear so far?"

I rolled my eyes and went pushed him out of the bedside to close the curtains for me to change.

"Looks like you have this all planned out." I said, "It seems like you don't need me."

He scoffed. "Trying to fish out validation?"

I chuckled. "A bit."

"I'm still as useless as you when it comes to the treasury. It's filled with holy magic so I still can't get in. Even in the whole academy, my magic is still limited since there bits of holiness scattered around." He explained.

"But you were still able to change your appearance," I said as I finished changing.

"This form allows me to save magical energy. The smaller the body the lesser mana it requires."

I opened the curtains. "How did you even get in? Don't they need identification papers to enroll here?"

"I have one prepared, I'm not stupid like you." He said, handing me my bag as we went out of the infirmary. "I took the exam for commoners, they require less than noble houses."

It's true. Since the academy is a government school, it offers scholarships and entrances to the common people. It requires less identification and background papers since commoners are not as notable as nobles, but the passing rate is 90% compared to the passing rate for nobles which is only 50%.

"Also, I whipped out an identity on the way." He snapped his finger and an ID card appeared at his fingertips. I took the card and had a look.

"Eli? Top student number 7?" I raised a brow. "What happened to the almighty god Elios? Can't top off a mundane exam?"

He scoffed. "Of course, I had to lay low. I can't attract attention like you."

"Since when have I attracted attention?" I asked him.

"On your first day, you went into the forest and got involved with assassins and the crown prince's faction."

"A man was injured, what was I supposed to do?" We passed by the cafeteria and I saw Korris and Ella already eating.

"Ugh, let him die?" He answered with an as-a-matter-of-fact tone. "People die every day."
