Birth

~4 months and 3 weeks later~
Lucy's P.O.V.
It's my due date and my cramps aren't too bad actually. I go through the whole day with Calum by my side. But also without my water breaking. Late that night around 7pm, Calum phones the hospital. 'Hello, I was just wondering, my wife's due date was today but it's just after 7pm and she's not gone into labour yet.' He says. After a bit of talking, Cal hangs up. 'They said, if you're water hasn't broke by 8am, I'm to take you in.' He says. Cal helps me get into bed and I fall asleep easily. I wake the next morning and I've not gone into labour yet. I wake Cal up and he gets my bag ready and we go to the hospital. Once I'm settled, the doctors try different things to get me to go into labour. Eventually after sitting in a swimming pool for about an hour, I get out and my water breaks. 'THANK GOD!' Calum yells. I laugh at my silly husband.

6 hours into labour and finally my baby is born. The doctor holds up my baby and smiles. 'Congratulations Mr and Mrs Hood, it's a baby girl!' He smiles. Calum grins at me. 'Just like we wanted!' He says. 'What are you gonna call her?' Th doctor asks as a nurse wraps mine and Calum's baby in a blanket. 'Dionne!' I say, happily. 'After her Aunt!' Calum says. 'Aw! Your sister must be very proud!' The nurse says. 'She's not really my sister, just my best friend but we're just like sisters. She's going to be her God-mother!' I say, happily. 'Oh is Ashton gonna be the God-father?' Cal asks. 'Sure.' I say. I smile down at my baby girl. 'Hey baby.' I whisper. 'She looks just like me!' Cal squeals. I nod. I cuddle my baby girl close. After awhile, I get tired so I pass her to Calum so I can sleep.

Calum's P.O.V.
I lay cuddling my little Dionne while Lucy sleeps. The doctor then tells me, I need to let her sleep so I place Dionne in one of those baby things but they're clear. I get some sleep too.

When I phone Dionne that night, she was thrilled.
'Hey Dionne!' I say, happily.
'Hey Cal, is everything alright?' She asks.
'Lucy had the baby.' I say.
'Oh my gosh! What'd she have?!' She asks, excitedly.
'She delivered a healthy baby girl!' I say, smiling.
'Oh my god! I'm so happy for you guys! What's she called?!' She asks, squealing.
'You can find out when you get here.' I say.
'I'M ON MY WAY!!' She shrieks, hanging up.

25 minutes later, Dionne arrives with Ashton. 'Luke said he'll be here shortly but he won't bring Chloe, since her and Lucy don't know each other really except from just being in the same room I think. And Mickey's sick so Sophie and Michael are looking after him.' She informs us. I nod my head, telling her to come closer. I carefully lift little Dionne from her crib as she gazes up at me. I slowly hand her to her God-mother. 'Hey angel.' Dionne whispers down to her. 'Meet your God-daughter Ash!' I say. Dionne's head shoots up. 'She's named after you.' I say, grinning. Dionne smiles wide and gazes down at her little God-daughter. 'You're beautiful.' Dionne whispers. I can tell she's happy.

10 minutes after Dionne and Ash, Luke arrived. Ash was holding Dionne when he walked in so he gently lifted her from him. About an hour later, Lucy's awake but then 3 people, I thought weren't coming, walked through the door. 'Surprise!' Sophie says. 'Hey!' I greet her and Michael in a hug. The little tike, Mickey is cuddling into his daddy and not letting go to give uncle Calum a hug. 'Don't you wanna give me a cuddle?' I ask Mickey. He doesn't do anything. Michael gives me a frown and shakes his head. I nod my head in understanding. I let Sophie hold Dionne then Michael. He had a struggle to get Mickey off him but he eventually did. Sophie took Mickey out the room for awhile but that didn't help. Everyone cuddled Dionne till I put her back in crib. She is beautiful, with her little head of black hair and the most beautiful brownish/caramel eyes. Can life get much better than it already has? An awesome band, a loving wife and now a beautiful baby girl. My life is perfect! I finally have my own family....

So yeah Lucy's had her baby girl! After this, there'll be a chapter for Sophie and Michael's Wedding, Dionne and Ashton's Wedding and then a future chapter then I'll end this story 😭.
