Protestors struggled bit by bit

After fifty years, Alas! Sudan did split.

Finally the day arrived, referendum was sought

As a result, Independent South people got.

North and South got separated by a dividing line

We all wonder, Will it turn out to be fine?

Losing 80% of the oil, North your anger you mask

Omar Al-Bashir; for signing the partition, Should we consider you a hero, I ask?

Poverty, Lack of infrastructure, corruption; South is infected to its core

Isolating Juba from Khartoum, can you now soar?

The authoritarianism of the North, led to a messy brawl

South; Don’t run? Just try to crawl.

Racial, religious tensions , you should thwart

Else, it will just tear your nation apart.

Grant security, investors will come in large

Soon with your head held high, in the world you will charge!
