There was once a girl named Mary Jane. To everyone, she was known as "perfect." She had amazing grades, had many friends, and the teachers adored her because she was active around her school. She was 17 years old. She had dark brown hair, almost black, that showed red tints in direct sunlight. Her light brown eyes with flecks of green on her irises, and skin the color of caramel. She would greet each person she saw with a wide smile. Everyone thought she had everything; the key word being had. Although people saw a wide smile on the face of a happy girl, her eyes revealed the truth. Her light, hazel eyes would always have pain and sadness swirled inside. The truth was that she was broken.
