Once she opened the door to her room, she locked it and hoped nobody would try to enter. She walked to the full-bodied mirror in her room, and stood in front of it. She let out a small gasp when she noticed the purple and navy blue fingerprints scattered across her neck. She lifted up her shirt, inch by inch, and stood still in front of the mirror, taking in the sight. Her side was completely covered in black and purple spots, while her stomach was bright red and still sore. She dropped her shirt back by her aching side, and walked over to her bed. She carefully climbed into her bed, lying on her back so she wouldn't feel any extra pain. She turned off the lights, and fell asleep with silent tears streaming down her face.
