He slammed the door with such force that the door hinge shook. Matthew started to take long strides toward Mary Jane, while she cowered back in fear. He reached out his hands and wrapped them around her neck, slowly but forcefully. She started to gasp loudly, trying to gain a fresh breath of air. After a few moments, he took his hands off of her neck, barely giving her time to recover before his fist collided with her stomach, causing her to plummet to the floor. She tried to stand, but was too weak, and soon saw Matthew's foot connect with her body, and felt a sharp pain in her side. After a minute or two, he stopped, and pulled her out of his room. "Just remember," he said. "The longer you make me wait, the more pain you'll feel." He slammed the door, while she stood in front of it, trying to muster up enough energy to reached her room.
