She walked over to her closet and picked out her clothing and undergarments for the day. She walked into the bathroom, and glanced at herself in the mirror. She had violet rings around her eyes, and and dark brown bags that fell underneath her eyes. She turned on the water for her shower, making it scorching hot. She stripped off her clothing, and stepped underneath the steaming hot water. Once she was finished, she stepped out of the shower, and grabbed a white towel that was hanging on a rack near the bathtub. She dried herself off, and before she wrapped the towel around herself, she could see red marks covering her chest, back, and shoulders, which came from the hot water that pelted her body. She picked up the clothing that was left on the closed toilet seat, and began to put them on. She put on her undergarments, then her gray turtleneck sweater to cover her bruises, along with a pair of black skinny jeans and black sneakers.
