''WHAT!!'' I screamed. 'What the heck.' ''Why does it want me dead?''

''Because, you are the only one who can kill him.''

''Ha!!" I said mockingly. ''Wasn't Benjamin the one who could kill him.''

''Benjamin was the one to protect the world and to be the father of the Protectors.'' Megan said tiredly. ''YOU are the one who can kill him.''

"Why me?'' I asked. ''Why is it always me?''

''Annabelle, it's__''

''I HATE my life.'' I said angrily. ''First of all, my life is like all STUPID survival games, and now my life is a survival weapon for everyone, what the heck?''

''Annabelle, I know it's hard for you right now, that's why I'm here to teach you.'' Megan said. If she thought that was going to make feel better, she was wrong. ''The world needs you.''

''How can the world need me when the world doesn't even know me?''

''Actually, every single one of every kind of creatures knows you.''

''Yeah, creatures, NOT. ORDINARY. HUMANS.'' I said, hoping to make sense.

''Actually, many ordinary humans know about you.'' Megan filled me in.

''What...How?'' I asked, shocked.

"Those humans know about legends and they are part of who you are.''

''But___oh, my Gosh, THIS is a CAUCHEMAR.'' I said, hoping that this was all a nightmare and I would wake up from it soon. "So, when will it begin?"

''Not yet, the fight won't begin until you are eighteen.'' Megan said reassuringly.

''Why eighteen?" I asked. I was a little relieved that I had time.

''You know when you are eighteen, you'll be a full Mind-Wisher, and legally, Mind-Wishers don't need help from their Minders anymore. Mostly. So yeah, they think that us, Minders, don't help Mind-Wishers when they are eighteen."

''But__''

''But, Minders are always there when the Mind-Wishers need help." Megan said, smiling.

''That's what they don't know.'' I said, smiling back.

''Now, let's get back to lesson...so when the time comes, they'll be scared of what they'll have to deal with.'' I laughed at that. ''Ready, Annabelle.''

''A spoon.'' I said. ''What if it hit me in the eye?''

''When the fight comes, there will be objects that will be way much worse than spoons. You just need to focus.'' She reminded me. I focused my eyes on the spoon.

''I'm ready.'' I said. She threw the spoon at me, but I controlled it fast enough that it went straight to Megan's head.

''Ooh, sorry about that.'' I said, but she was laughing. ''Why are you laughing?''

"Because you took me off guard. Ahh, I'm so proud of you.'' She said proudly. I looked down, embarrassed over her compliment. When I looked up, a ball hit me in the face and I fell on my butt.

''Mrs. Ludwig.'' I said, sitting up. ''I wasn't prepared."

''When it comes to real fight, you don't get to be prepared, you just have to act fast, honey.''

For this weekend, Megan taught me a lot, I learned how to control things that were being thrown at me and act fast.

At school, Josh sat with me at lunch, he certainly kept giving us jokes. Sometimes I would be the last one to laugh and that would make everyone start laughing again.

Over the weekend, I went shopping, I wanted to get Josh a nice and awesome present, of course, I could not do it without the help of Luke. So together, we decided to get a husky puppy!!
