School ended. I walked outside to my car and found that there was a Volvo parked next to it...and standing next to it was Alec and his girlfriend.
''What are you guys doing here?'' I asked, confused.
''We came here to talk to you.'' The girl said. I saw Josh walking out of the door, he was reading something. He looked up, saw me with Alec and his girlfriend.
''My name is Amelia.'' She said, sticking her hand out. I looked at it, she took it back slowly.
''I know who you are.'' I said. Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw Josh immobile, watching us. I knew he was trying to decide if he should come here, join this conversation I was having with my betrayal ex-boyfriend and his girlfriend, Amelia.
"We need to talk to you.'' Amelia said importantly. I looked at her. ''It's really important.''
''Is it about me being the survival weapon and the world's only hope...and you guys want me to be on your side?'' I asked them. They looked at each other and back at me.
''Well, it's part of it.'' Natalia said.
''You have to be prepared'' Alec added.
"I'm already starting on my power.'' I said truthfully.
