Natasha's pov :
I was asked today by shield , they rescued a kid from an old base of hydra she's been tortured and her body starving and getting weak .
- Nat : Maria !
I call and she turn around and smile at me walking forward .
- Maria : hey , here
She says and gives me some papers about the kid I walk toward the window of the room and look at it seeing the little really small girl sitting in a corner and another agent trying to get to her . She looks freaked out .
- Nat : why is she naked ?
- Maria : she took off the shirt we gave her , actually we couldn't get closer to put it on her
Maria says and I smile sadly
- Maria : the paper of hydra says she's now 5 years old , she doesn't talk just stare
I raise an eyebrow remembering an old friend Bucky Barnes with a huge staring problem .
- Nat : alright let me in
I say as I walk in front of the door
- Maria : Nat -
- Nat : trust me , open it
I say and she opens it letting me in , I make a sign to the agent inside to get out which she does and I slowly kneel down looking at the kid
- Nat : hey little one
I say softly and quietly to not scare her and she immediately turn and stare at me
- Nat : hi , sweetie it's okay I'm not going to hurt you no one will ever
I look at her , then to her body seeing how bruised and skinny she was
- Nat : Maria can you bring me food and something to drink please ?
I say using my com and turn back to the kid now looking clearly scared .
- Nat : hey look at that
I say and walk back seeing a teddy bear on the bed and walk back to where I was but a little closer gaining a big flinch.
- Nat : look , it's soft and fluffy? You want it ?
I ask and for the first time her body relax a little and she slowly nod
- Nat : alright little one , come and get it
I say and place the bear on the carpet in front of me but not too close , she press her head against the wall but relax realising i wasn't going to force and move forward .
- Nat : it's yours дорогой ( darling ) you can take it whenever you want
I slowly push my body back to give her more space and trust and she move her hands in front of her body to steady herself , she push her body toward the teddy bear but stare at me as I smile softly to comfort her . She slowly look at it and take it in her hands turning it around examining it , she then softly look back at me and a little smile place itself on her lips .
- Nat : you like it ?
I ask and she smile a little more , her dark wavy and dirty hair falling in front of her face but her blue ocean eyes were the light that was reassuring me when I was looking at her .
