Lots of things keep me awake at night, and most of them are always about this certain boy, whom I never really knew. All I know is that he dedicates songs to the ones he loves, that he named their dog Blackjack, that he likes pizza, and that he dreams to be a barista. He could be silly, sometimes childish, and could be moody at times. But what amazes me is the depth of understanding he has for the world and life. There would be times where he would sound like a great philosopher, and then he'd crack a joke like how veteran comedians do. When something bothers him, he won't confide in anyone; he'll always put on a mask to hide his misery. He never worries about how he looks because he is well aware of how he catches everyone's gaze. Nevertheless, he is someone who doubts himself. No simple words can hush his restlessness. He is delicately beautiful. A little push, and he'd break into pieces.
Lots of things keep me awake at night, and most of them are always about this certain boy who once sang a song for me and turned my world upside down. A once in a lifetime of crossing paths.
